When Osheaga announced it’s lineup for this year’s festival it included a big name – someone who hasn’t stopped in Montreal in quite some time – Eminem!
Eminem will be headlining on opening day, Friday, July 29 2011, at Montreal’s largest outdoor music festival.
The Osheaga Music and Arts Festival is a 3-day summer rock festival that is held annually in Montreal, Canada, at Parc Jean-Drapeau.
Montreal is a city smack in the middle of the Saint Lawrence River made up of a number of islands – and Osheaga takes place on one of the smaller islands called Saint Helen’s Island – just off the main ‘Montreal’ island.
Music fans will thrill to hear such classic acts as The Tragically Hip and Elvis Costello along with and tons of other bands which will also be on hand to perform at the fest. To see a full list of the bands go HERE!
The event has been held each year since 2006 and over 100,000 fans are expected.
