Lady Gaga‘s former assistant, Jennifer O’Neill, claims she was a “slave” to the popstar, reportedly having to do ridiculous things such as fetch towels for Gaga after her showering as well as make sure the Mother Monster stayed on schedule — apparently, not an easy task.
As reported by TMZ, O’Neill says in her lawsuit that:
she worked for Gaga for 13 months, and is owed $380,000 in overtime. O’Neill says in her suit her job included “ensuring the promptness of a towel following a shower and serving as a personal alarm clock to keep [Gaga] on schedule.”
This seems like just another ridiculous lawsuit that will eventually blow over. While Gaga herself is not a defendant in the case (she’s suing Mermaid Touring Company), it is nonetheless annoying for Gaga and her camp to deal with. Gaga’s reps say the suit is “without merit,” so we’re thinking nothing more will come of this and all of O’Neill’s “extra” work will — unfortunately for her — be viewed as having been done out of the goodness and kindness of her heart.
