Jessica Simpson has been beset by a serious high-pressure gas problem due to pregnancy and consequently has been “farting” up a storm recently.
The 31-year-old expectant mom – who is pregnant with her first child by Eric Johnson admitted on Twitter that she is suffering from this embarrassing and undesired side-effect of being with child.
Jessica retweeted a post stating: “The average person expels flatulence 15 times each day,” after which she tweeted: “The average pregnant woman farts 15 times that!”
Unfortunately farting has been a problem for Jessica in the past – while in a business meeting in 2010, Jessica let out a loud and long fart in front of attending executives and her mother.
A source said: “While one of the executives was speaking in a room full of five people, Jessica let out a very large fart.”
She herself has previously confessed to farting often, but has claimed it is not a problem because it has a particularly pleasant smell.
She said: “I do pass gas a lot. But I guarantee you it smells like roses.”
