Toxicology Report Confirms: Amy Winehouse Had NO Illegal drugs In Her System

After Amy Winehouse died suddenly people speculated because of her long history of drug and alcohol abuse that she died of an overdose.  However, it has been announced today that toxicology reports released to her family confirm there were NO illegal substances in her system at the time of her death.

Here is the statement that was released today: ‘Results indicate that alcohol was present but it cannot be determined as yet if it played a role in her death.   ‘The family would like to thank the police and coroner for their continuing thorough investigations and for keeping them informed throughout the process.  They await the outcome of the inquest in October.’

At the time of her death Amy’s family claimed that withdrawl from booze and not drugs caused her death.  Amy’s dad Mitch said at her eulogy  that Amy had beaten her battle with drink and drugs and she hadn’t drunk for three weeks and hadn’t touched drugs for years.

It seems that Mitch was wrong since at least alcohol was present in her system and that means she was drinking.  Poor Amy her body was probably in such a weakened state it could not take the drinking anymore.
