In the past 72 hours, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have broken up and gotten back together approximately 3 to 4 times. Ahhh, young love… young, rich, love. The pair have been together for awhile now and since no one really knows what’s going on behind closed doors but those two, then I’d have to assume this break up/make up drama is nothing new to their relationship. These more recent break ups just happen to have been commented on to the media.
But, where will this road lead for Jelena? The optimist in me believes they will go the distance. The realist in me knows they won’t last. The fact that they are in the public eye is a huge obstacle for the twosome. On last night’s AMA’s Bieber himself admitted that it was hard growing up in front of everyone’s eyes. Zero privacy. Zero room to make mistakes. Of course, the fact that he is incredibly flirtatious and possibly a womanizing brat doesn’t help the relationship either. Maybe they’ll be stupid and get married soon. Justin is from a single-parent home and probably dreams of having a family where mother and father are still together. But how can he have that and chase models at the same time?
Regardless, there is always hope and factors that can help them stay together. The pressure from fans to stay together can force the relationship either way, but Selena got him when he was young. That’s definitely going to have a huge impact on where their future lies. She seems to truly love him and enjoy his company. Nothing like the showmance of a certain Twi-Couple. Selena is definitely more career driven and may opt to put a hold on this whole relationship thing. But like I said, only those two know what’s really going on.
Whether they go their separate ways right now or not, I believe that in the end they will find their way back to each other.
