We just can’t get enough of The Hunger Games – especially when new stills are being released giving us more insight into our favorite characters wacky wardrobes and outrageous styles. So why not launch a new website for fans to pour over it all in anticipation for the March 23rd release.
The style blog, aptly titled Capitol Couture, consists of everything fashion related within the post-apocalyptic city of Panem. The first issue was launched this week and featured that exuberant and always stylish Effie Trinket, played by the lovely Elizabeth Banks. Effie is the escort for District 12’s Katniss and Peeta.
Also on the site are fan art, other Capitol fashions from shoes, nail polish and manicures, as well as a brief clip from a scene with Effie leading the way ahead of Peeta and Katniss.
The site will continue to be updated until the movie’s fast approaching (but not fast enough) opening.
