Sean Penn Dating Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine

I just don’t get the power of guys like Sean Penn. He has an unimaginable knack for bedding Hollywood stars half his age and apparently the 52-year old now has set his sights on yet another young woman. This time around Sean seems to be making a bee-line for Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine. The two met at a Gucci Art Charity event a few weeks ago in L.A. And according to sources, there was an instant chemistry and connection between Sean and Florence. “Sean was flirting with her all evening and they got along like a house on fire.” Apparently Sean saw so much potential between them that he has insisted on a date with this new woman that has so quickly captured his attention.

Florence split from longtime beau, James Nesbitt back in September and Sean has burned through a string of women including the likes of Scarlett Johansson,  Petra Nemcova and of course, ex-wives, Robin Wright and Madonna. At least the two appear to have a clear path to a relationship if it should come to that, but I just don’t get it.

What is it about Sean Penn that draws such talented, stunning women to him? How the hell does he suck them in? Maybe it’s the bad boy thing because Sean has always come off as a guy that just doesn’t give a crap. He obviously knows how to turn on the charm to reel chicks in but there’s still that under current there of him not caring too much what happens. Also, aside from his marriages a lot of his relationships seem to start off hot and heavy but cool off quick. That makes me think it’s all about the chase and the sex for him. When the thrill wears off he moves on to the next twenty something that catches his eye.

What is it about Florence that has made Sean even take notice? Do you think this will be like all of his other flings or will something more come of it? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
