Burnell Taylor American Idol "You Give Love A Bad Name" Video 4/3/13

New Orleans, Lousianna native Burnell Taylor performed,  “You Give Love A Bad Name” by Bon Jovi.    Did you watch tonight’s show?  We did and we recapped it here for you.  The theme for tonight’s performance show was Classic Rock, No Ballads.  The contestants were warned no ballads, love songs or soft songs.  There have been a lot of ballads performed by the contestants this season, so I guess they want to see how the idol hopefuls can rock it out.

On last week’s show Burnell sang, “My Cherie Amour,” by Stevie Wonder and the judges loved his outfit and his performance.  Nicki said, Nicki: “You look like a priest in white.  You reminded us why we fell in love with your voice.  I could hear you back in that time the Motown time.  It is very artsy!”  Randy said Burnell is, in it to win it,  “You know what I love about you, you are fabulous and I love your choices.  You are in it to win it.”

On Thursday’s Results Show, Carrie Underwood will perform her new single, “See You Again” and Season Nine finalist Casey James will sing his song, “The Good Life.”  We will also lose one more hopeful Idol contestant.

Check out the video below and let us know what you thought of  Burnell’s performance tonight?  Was it enough for her to stick around another night? Sound out in the comments below and let us know your thoughts.
