It looks like Desiree Hartsock will indeed be the next Bachelorette on the hit ABC reality show. The network hasn’t spilled the beans and won’t confirm anything until it is officially announced on The Bachelor finale, but Desiree has been spotted in L.A. With a film crew following her around. The sighting has led to speculation that Des was shooting her promos for the upcoming show.
Fans of the reality series will no doubt be happy with Des being chosen. She has been fun and really likable from the get-go and it left a lot of viewers wanting to see her happy. Also rumored to be in the running for the spot was Emily Maynard who failed to find love on previous seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. She briefly came across as a down-to-earth single mom that truly wanted to find the love of her life. That image of Em was quickly replaced by that of a cut throat cheater that lied to and manipulated every guy in her path. Emily is now considered to be the ultimate fame whore. She has gone from not finding love to tackling hosting duties and pushing for a spot on Dancing with the Stars. It seems that Emily’s star has fallen even in reality tv land, as ABC chose Desiree over her.
