Jada Pinkett Smith continues to give interviews where she tries her best to make us think that Will Smith is not gay. Ok, I’ll bite. Will Smith isn’t gay. So what does this mean? Well, according to Jada, it means that people should stop gossiping about her marriage.
Jada covered the latest issue of Redbook Magazine, and in the interview, she says she will never, ever, ever leave Will. She explains, “What is the thing that Will could do to make me not love him? That would make me abandon him? I can’t think of one. I’m sorry.”
Well, we already kind of knew that, right? She also slams the gossip industry, saying that it ruins people’s marriages. She claims, “I have been affected by gossip and I know people who have been too. I’ve seen marriages destroyed by gossip. It is cruel.”

Ok, the tabloid reports don’t destroy people’s marriages – the people do. If a tabloid report is going to make you doubt your spouse, then I’m sorry, but you really don’t have much business being married.
Look, we all saw what happened to Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, right? Does anyone really think that was caused by the tabloids? Please. Katie wanted to get away from Tommy Girl and his crazy beliefs, so she executed a military style escape from his life.
As Jada says, there is no way she would do that to Will. For one, Will’s a lot more chilled out than Tommy and Jada is not nearly under the level of control that Katie was. For another, Jada’s a lot more entrenched into the system than Katie ever was. How long have Will and Jada been married now? Almost 16 years. Plus, I guarantee you that if she was ever to leave, the Scientologists would track her down and threaten to leak everything she kept secret about her life. Who would want that? Better to stay married to a movie star and live the high life, even if it costs you your sanity.
But then again, the Will Smith/Jada Pinkett Smith marriage is wonderful — according to her. If that’s the case, I don’t see why she feels the need to pander to all the gossip and continually remind everyone of that fact. Let it be, and people will leave it alone.
