If your own friends don’t have any faith in your relationship, how on earth do you expect the public to believe in it? A new report from Star Magazine claims that Justin Theroux‘ friends are betting $100,000 dollars that Justin won’t marry fiance Jennifer Aniston.
A source says, “It’s a joke among Justin’s friends. There’s about $100,000 riding on it. His friends are adamant he won’t ever marry. Justin finds weddings embarrassing. He can’t stand the idea of being on display, not to mention the pressure that comes with marrying Jennifer Aniston.”
If that’s the case, one wonders why Justin would even propose in the first place. Well, that’s actually not too difficult to figure out. Justin’s career has improved exponentially since he’s gotten together with Jennifer. There’s only so long he could have dated her before the relationship had to become more serious. So while the engagement had to happen, that doesn’t mean the marriage is a sure-fire thing – especially according to Justin’s friends. Many couples break up after getting engaged and now that Justin has a solid acting career to speak of [he’s starring in an HBO show], why does he need to stay with Jennifer?
For now, the duo seems stable – there hasn’t been talk of breakups and relationship troubles, and they claim they’ve postponed the wedding because of scheduling issues. But it’s happened so many times that at this point, there are two alternatives: one is that Justin and Jennifer are waiting for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to announce their wedding date, and then they plan on stealing their thunder. As ridiculous as that sounds, the other alternative would be that they’ll either keep postponing the wedding or get married in the next year. What do you guys think will happen?
