Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are fiiiine, of course they are. That’s not why she’s discussing divorce in an interview, not at all…. Not many people know that before Jennifer met Ben, she was actually married to actor Scott Foley, who starred on Felicity where she made a guest appearance.
In a recent interview, Jennifer says that their marriage ‘imploded’, explaining, “We were full-on grown-ups, but looking back I’m aware we did not know what hit us. We didn’t have a shot. He’s a really good guy, and we just imploded.”
There are rumors that her next relationship with Michael Vartan overlapped with her marriage to Foley, and then there are also rumors that her relationship with Vartan overlapped with her relationship with Ben Affleck. If you’re sensing a pattern here, you’re not alone.
Anyway, there’s absolutely no proof to those allegations, but Jennifer and Ben did get married fairly quickly after meeting, and the rest is history. However, divorce seems to be a topic that’s been plaguing Jennifer recently. There are many rumors that Jennifer and Ben have been on the rocks, largely because she’s sick of staying at home while he’s off building his career. We know that’s not going to change any time soon, especially since he’s landed Batman and also has several other movies on the horizon.
There’s also the question of how long Jennifer and Ben are going to last, especially since Ben is slowly on his way to becoming the next Hollywood bigwig. Will he dump Jennifer as for some young trophy wife as soon as he gets the chance? Or will he stick it out with his marriage? In all honesty, it seems like she’s the one who makes most of the effort in that relationship so if Jennifer were to get sick of it all, I’m pretty sure their marriage would implode.
