Normal people don’t get to spend the weekend at Queen Elizabeth‘s Sandringham estate, but Cressida Bonas isn’t normal. As Prince Harry‘s girlfriend of more than a few months, she’s already looked at as a future Princess, but rumor has it that things have really been heating up in the engagement department.
After spending the weekend with Prince Harry at Sandringham, Cressida has sparked rumors that her engagement to Prince Harry is being finalized. Although neither the Queen nor Prince Charles was present at Sandrigham for Cressida’s stay, the fact that she spent a full weekend with Harry is a sign that things are getting very serious, if they haven’t already. Rumors of an engagement have been circulating for a few months now, and it’s clear that the royal family is desperate to get Harry married off before he ends up going back to Chelsy Davy or someone else.
While the pressure has lifted off Harry somewhat, due to the birth of Prince George, he is still a member of the royal family and will be expected to follow the traditions as such. There’s no way he can continue his life as a bachelor, the way I’m sure he wants to. Bringing Cressida to Sandringham is a sign that he’s ready to be more serious, and that Cressida is the person for him. I’m not sure if they’ll stay together forever, but for now, he seems legitimately confident about his future with her. With Harry, that’s a rare enough occurrence that I can see why the royal family is so excited about Cressida. Besides, she’s upper class enough for the royals, and I have no doubt that they’re happy that Harry’s found someone more… suitable than Chelsy to make his wife.
