It’s no secret that Prince William doesn’t like the media. Being the well-raised and well-behaved royal that he is, he tries his best not to show it, but it’s always been obvious that he holds them responsible for what happened to his mother. But he may never have been as openly angry as he was at Buckingham palace yesterday while getting ready to attend to the pre-Christmas celebration luncheon with the royals. Well, that might not be true – he was pretty angry during the whole Closer scandal involving Kate Middleton‘s topless pictures.
According to reports, Will looked seriously angry while getting out of his vehicle, and reporters were reportedly taken by surprise at how irritable he was. Well, DUH. After believing that they’d put the phone hacking scandal behind them, he’s now faced with leaked transcripts of several intimate messages he left Kate back when they were dating and he was at Sandhurst military academy. Thanks to the Daily Fail, the transcripts have since been made public and likely infuriated William.
It’s actually a little bit ironic, even though Will and Kate are probably more angry than amused. But the fact of the matter is this: These voicemails would never have come to light if this scandal hadn’t gone to court, but in order for the perpetrators to face justice, they must go through the legal system. And that unfortunately means that there are details leaked to the press that Will might not want the public to know.
