Queen Elizabeth Forbids Kate Middleton to Move Home With Mother Carole Middleton After Baby Is Born

Kate Middleton’s due date is inching closer and before we all know it she’s going to be pushing that lilac covered stroller with some precious cargo in it. For those of you convinced that she’s having a boy, hold up. Supposedly the stroller color is not blue, but more purplish and often purchased by couples’ that are unsure of the gender of their baby, so Kate could still be expecting a princess after all.

There has also been a lot of chatter about where Kate will live after becoming a mother. Obviously she wants to be with her husband, Prince William, but after a short paternity leave Wills will be heading back to work, leaving Kate to contend with a newborn on her own. It seemed for awhile quite likely that she would stay with her mother, Carole Middleton at Bucklebury. Apparently Queen Elizabeth was having none of that and Kate held her ground firmly enough to reach an agreement. A source for the family recently told E! News,

“There are no formal plans for her to move in with her mum in Bucklebury. But after Will’s paternity leave—currently expected to be two weeks—Kate will spend most of her time between London and Bucklebury.”

It’s the most natural thing on earth for a woman to feel like she needs her mom after having a baby and so I’m not at all surprised that Kate insisted on at least splitting her time between her home and her mother’s. I’m also impressed by how Kate does get what she wants. It might end up being a mutual, meet in the middle kind of agreement, but she’s not being led or bullied by the Royals that’s for sure!

So now back to that debate about the baby, is it a prince or a princess? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
