Teresa Giudice still seems to believe that she’s absolutely bullet proof in spite of a 39-count indictment that seems to indicate otherwise! Since turning herself in alongside her husband, Joe Giudice last Tuesday morning and then being released on bail, Teresa has acted as if everything was just fine. We’ve seen her relaxing on the beach and attending an event in NYC where she basically told reporters that life goes on.
According to the Aug. 12th print edition of In Touch, this chick is so completely in denial that when already offered a plea deal that would lead to only a couple of year jail sentence that would probably be suspended, she refused. She prefers taking the gamble of going to trial and winding up in prison for many years – she appears confident enough to stand by Joe Giudice’s side and fight the charges with him. Apparently the authorities thought that an upset and emotional Teresa might decide to save herself and her children and take the sure thing rather than risk being locked up for years and not raising them into adulthood, but that’s not her plan.
Teresa thinks that she’s going to get away scot-free and that if necessary Joe will take the complete fall for both of them and she’ll be free to move on with her indulgent lifestyle as a single mother. Here’s the thing though, even if he does take the lion’s share of the blame, that doesn’t mean that a New Jersey judge isn’t going to want to see Teresa do a bit of time. 39-counts is an awful lot and Teresa signed legal documents and had fraudulent accounts in her name! Even Juicy Joe can’t make that all disappear!
