Who Will Be Voted Off Dancing With The Stars 2013 Week 6 Tonight? (POLL)

On last night’s DANCING WITH THE STARS the couples worked hard to impress the judges.  We are down to the last eight contestants and the stakes are getting higher and the competition tougher.  Last night the eight remaining couples hit the dance floor and paid tribute to singer, songwriter and legend Stevie Wonder.  After last night’s performances at the top of the leaderboard is Kellie Pickler and professional dancer Derek Hough and at the bottom of the leaderboard is Victor Ortiz and professional dancer Lindsay Arnold.  Did you watch last night’s show?  We did and we recapped it here for you.

On last night’s show Stevie Wonder took over the ballroom as “Dancing with the Stars” devoted, for the first time, an entire evening to one artist. He performed some of his classic songs, including “Sir Duke” and “My Cherie Amour,” and the celebrities will dance to his greatest hits, including “I Just Called to Say I Love You,” “For Once in My Life” and “Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours).”   Also last night we got to see the first group dances of the season, Team Paso and Team Samba performed either a Paso Doble or a Samba.

There were some great performances last night and some not so great.  Victor Ortiz who is at the bottom of the leaderboard just could not seem to get it together and walked more than danced.  Len said about his performance, “We have had some great boxers on DWTS, you have gone more rounds than any of them.  Dance does not come easy and I know you come out with fighting spirit.”   One of my favorite contestants Andy Dick did a lot better last night and Len had this to say about his performance,  “I want you to do what you.  What you do it you come out here and give us fun.  Dance is about entertainment.  It was not that good technically, but others have climbed hills you have climbed mountains.”

Kellie Pickler again exploded onto the dance floor and delivered a perfect Quickstep which landed her at the top of the leaderboard.  Len paid her the highest compliment saying,  “For me, that is the best dance I have seen all season.”   Bruno agreed and said, “This was scrumptious, dancing of the best quality.  it was traditional and it was dancing of the best quality.  Superb!”

Below is a list of how all the celebs did last night:

Zendaya and professional dancer Val Chmerkovskiy  dancing the Cha Cha Cha [VIDEO HERE]  29/30 + 22/30 = 51/60
Andy Dick and professional dancer Sharna Burgess dancing the Samba [VIDEO HERE] 18/30 + 25/30 = 43/60
Sean Lowe and professional dancer Peta Murgatroyd danced the Samba [VIDEO HERE] 21/30 + 46/60
Aly Raisman and professional dancer Mark Ballas dancing the Foxtrot [VIDEO HERE] 27/30 + 25/30 = 52/60
Ingo Rademacher and professional dancer Kym Johnson dancing a Tango [VIDEO HERE]  24/30 + 22/30 = 46/60
Kellie Pickler and professional dancer Derek Hough dancing the Quickstep [VIDEO HERE]  29/30 + 25/30 = 54/60
Victor Ortiz and professional dancer Lindsay Arnold dancing the Rumba [VIDEO HERE]  18/30 + 22/30 = 40/60
Jacoby Jones and professional dancer Karina Smirnoff  dancing the Quickstep [VIDEO HERE] 23/30 + 22/30 = 45/60

Logic dictates that one of the couples with the lowest scores – Victor Ortiz and professional dancer Lindsay Arnold – will be leaving the competition, but although Victor was in the bottom, I don’t agree he is the worse dancer.  The former Bachelor Sean Lowe is a horrible dancer, but the judges clearly want to keep him around another week and scored him higher that the rest of the dancers n the bottom of the pack.  Len said this about his performance last night, “ It was riddled with mistakes.  It was not terrible, but no great.  I don’t get it why thought you had to take your shirt off.”   After comments like that the judges still scored him a 21/30.

No matter what the judges says, at the end of the day, the competition comes down to your vote at home. Who should leave? Vote in our trusty poll and let us know in the comments below which two couples you think should be going home tonight.
