The highly anticipated Big Brother 16 season premiere is scheduled to air on Wednesday, June 25th and spoilers recently revealed it would be a two-night extravaganza; the second episode will air on Thursday, June 26th. CBS revealed the official Big Brother 16 cast last week and Julie Chen revealed a shocking and game-changing twist on The Talk.
According to spoilers released by Julie Chen on The Talk, Big Brother 16 will be played a bit differently than previous seasons. This season there will be two head of households every week, and each head of household will nominate two players for eviction. A new competition has been added to the BB16 line-up, and before evictions the two HOH’s will face off in a competition called the Battle of the Block, the winning HOH will get to keep their nominations.
New Big Brother 16 spoilers have leaked, and it has been revealed that the new houseguests will be divided in to two groups of eight. During night one of the Big Brother 16 premiere on Wednesday, the first group of eight will move in to the house and the first HOH competition will be held. The following night, the second group of eight will move in to the Big Brother house and will compete in their own HOH competition.
By dividing the houseguests into groups of eight and moving them in to the house on two separate nights, the producers have already created an interesting dynamic in the house. The first group of eight will already spend twenty-four hours together before the second group moves in. They could already have alliances formed before the second group ever makes it across the threshold. Although some details on how the new HOH twist is going to work are still hazy, one thing is for sure, BB16 is shaping up to be one of the potentially craziest seasons yet.
