The Hampton Classic is tomorrow and as the DVF staff is stretched thin with fittings and other tasks, Jessica wants to bring the girls with her to make the workload more manageable.

Jessica says she would never think to bring the girls with her, but she is forced because of the sheer number of tasks that need to be done. Jessica calls Amanda first out of all the contestants because she has ‘shown the most responsibility,’ rattling off a long list of tasks that need to be done.

The girls have to get nine garment bags of clothes and bring them to the house in the Hamptons.  On the way there, Amanda updates the girls on what Jessica said, but she doesn’t remember much because Jessica was talking so fast and said so much. Brittany is irritated that Amanda isn’t prepared and didn’t take notes.

When Jessica gets to the house for the VIP fittings, the clothes and the girls are both missing. Meanwhile, they are still driving there, with Lenore at the wheel. Jessica calls Amanda to ask what’s going on, and when Kier tells her they are an hour and thirty minutes ago, Jessica is utterly confused. She asks the girls what they’re wearing and Kier says she’s wearing DVF shoes. Jessica tells the girls they need to show up in DVF.

The first VIP, actress Becca Tobin from Glee, has arrived on time, forcing Jessica to apologize and stall. Supermodel Jessica White then shows up. “It has officially gone from bad to worse,” Jessica says.

When the girls arrive, Jessica pulls Amanda aside and asks her what happened. “You know, they’ve been waiting for an hour almost.” “That’s embarrassing,” Amanda says. “I feel bad.”

Lenore struggles with getting the clothing rack into the house, and then the clothes are out of order. Meanwhile, the VIPs are still watching this mess.

Kier suggests a pink dress to Jessica White, and Brittany takes it upon herself to help Kier in assisting the model. She styles the model, and Jessica criticizes her. However, she thinks she knows how to style someone.

Amanda puts two of the VIPs in the same pattern, which one of them notices and takes issue with.

Kier confronts Brittany on taking over with Jessica White, and Brittany insists that she was trying to help as White was her first girl. Both of the Jessicas notice and discuss that Kier allowed Brittany to steamroll her and take her client.

After the VIPs leave, Jessica tells the girls she is really disappointed with their performance.  She tells Brittany that she is supposed to be a stylist and she still had issues with this. She asks the girls why they can’t get it together a little more. Brittany says she went out of her way to help and Jessica asks how styling is going out of her way when Brittany is a stylist.

When Jessica says she thinks all the girls that left today looked great, Brittany laughs. When asked why she was laughing, Brittany says she just doesn’t think the girls left as happy as they should have or that Jessica thinks so. Jessica asks Brittany if she would ‘spit in DVF’s face’ like that if she were here.

Jessica tells Brittany she isn’t as great as she thinks she is. She tells the confessional that she would fire Brittany right then if she could.  Amanda is relieved because now the spotlight is off her own mistakes.

Brittany is secluding herself from the other girls in the house, which is irritating Amanda.

Lenore suggests throwing a party, and Amanda agrees, saying she doesn’t see the issue with throwing a party as long as it’s the right kind of party, given that DVF herself knows how to throw a good bash.

Jessica and Stefani meet and Jessica talks about how badly the girls did, saying she feels like she set them up to fail. She then tells Stefani about Brittany’s bad attitude. Stefani says she either loves Brittany or can’t believe what she’s saying, adding that Brittany’s behavior is completely unpredictable from day to day.

The ladies arrive at the Hampton Classic, and they need to take photos of the VIPs that best reflect DVF. Stefani thinks the girls did a great job at the event despite their previous failures in the Hamptons.

Stefani and Jessica sit down with Brittany to speak to her about her behavior in the house the day prior. Brittany apologizes for disrespecting them, but Stefani says this isn’t a one-time thing. She tells Brittany that she sees her as a riddle, and that she has no idea how she will be each day. The women tell Brittany that if she acts that way on the job, she will be fired, and that her behavior is off-brand. Brittany starts crying and excuses herself for a moment. When she comes back, they tell her not to take it personally and that they are trying to help her. Brittany apologizes for letting her ego get in the way.

The girls throw the house party, which Brittany wants nothing to do with after the lecture she just got. Lenore is surprised at the men that the other ladies bring to this party, which has now gotten out of control.

A guest jumps in the pool in the DVF sample clothes for the Classic, which need to be returned in the exact condition she got them.

DVF and her assistant fly over New York City and her assistant shows her photos from the Classic, which look great, and then photos from the party, which don’t look so great. They plan to talk to Jessica and Stefani about the issue, as they can’t have a brand ambassador posting scandalous photos on social media.

When Jessica and Stefani look at the photos, they note the guest in the sample clothes.

DVF arrives, and they tell her about the VIP guests waiting for hours in the house and Brittany’s bad behavior.  Stefani says she understands that they are young and like to party, but she is most appalled about the dress. DVF is fed up, saying they aren’t going to find any brand ambassador and things like this make her want to give up.

The girls wake up and look in horror at the Instagram post with the sample dress. Amanda says they didn’t tell her to wear the dress and there’s nothing they can do about this other than clean it. While they’re talking about the dress, DVF comes in and tells them to sit down.

She immediately asks them about the photos, saying that she feels like an idiot and thinks maybe this whole thing was just not a good idea. She says that she doesn’t know if she’ll give the job to anyone at this point.

Then she turns to Brittany, and Brittany says she wasn’t prepared. DVF says that’s how life is and that doesn’t mean she has to be a bitch.

When asked about her role in this, Kier says it wasn’t their fault. DVF tells her not to blame anyone. Kier doesn’t understand why she’s the one being criticized when everything is Amanda’s fault.

Kier goes outside to call Roger because she wants to go home. She tells him there is no way DVF will hire her because she doesn’t understand who she really is, and the person she thinks she is sucks. She adds that she can’t be herself in the competition because she isn’t comfortable.

Ellen from DVF’s office calls Brittany on her cell phone, saying DVF wants her to meet her in Southampton while the other girls go back to Manhattan. Brittany goes off to text her family, and notices that the other girls are in the background happy and giggling.

Lenore says that since Brittany is everyone’s biggest competition, if she is kicked off, everyone will be happy to see her go.

THE END!
