Does anyone ever equate Jennifer Lawrence to ‘sexiest woman in the world’? Really? She’s a phenomenally talented actress and definitely one of the best in her age range, but sexiest? The girl’s got a great body, I’ll admit, and she’s funny and goofy. But when you have women like Rihanna and Gisele Bundchen and Scarlett Johansson to choose from, the fact that Jennifer Lawrence is #1 on FHM’s Sexiest Women In The World list is a bit of a shock.
Yes, that’s right. JLaw, otherwise known as the farting, burping, laughing goofball of Hollywood, has been promoted to FHM’s Sexiest Woman in the World, adding that to her long list of achievements. She’ll have to hold this dubious honor for the rest of 2014, and she follows Mila Kunis, who was the recipient of last year’s Sexiest Woman title.
FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women feature editor spoke released a statement, explaining why they chose J.Law as their #1. He explains, “Not only is she the most in-demand actress on the planet, but men the world over have fallen in love with her kooky charm.” Eh, I didn’t realize that being an in-demand actress and having ‘kooky charm’ meant that you were sexy? It’s a bit insulting really. Does that mean that not being an ‘in-demand’ actress makes you not sexy? That rules out 99.999 percent of the female population right there.
Either way, I can understand what the editor is saying, but I don’t think many people will necessarily agree with this. Jennifer herself always laughs off the sexy compliments, and I think she’s probably as flabbergasted by this title as we are. Unless of course she campaigned for it and had her people buy it for her – kind of like how Gwyneth Paltrow won World’s Most Beautiful Woman….
