Lauren says Albie always plays the victim, calling him “dramatic” and “pathetic.”I don’t think Brittany’s the right girl for him,” she says. Caroline asks Albie what just went on and he tells her what Lauren said to him. Lauren cries on the phone to her husband about how Albie called her a toxic person in his life, saying he basically doesn’t want her in his life anymore. Meanwhile, Albie tells Caroline he doesn’t care if the person he’s dating fits in with the family. He’s saying if he finds the perfect person for him, and the family doesn’t like her, he won’t come around. Caroline tells him that he shouldn’t dare tell his sister he didn’t want her in his life anymore. She says he needs to go and make up with her right away, not listening to any of his protests.

Caroline then goes and talks to Lauren. “What a lot of people don’t know is me and Albie fight a lot, and we fight brutally,” she says. However, she says he’s gone too far this time by saying he doesn’t want her and her family in his life. Caroline suggests maybe they should just put it past her instead of doing something wrong in response to him saying something wrong. Lauren thinks no one sees her side of the story and how this is affecting her, always taking Albie’s side. Caroline threatens to throw them out of the house if they don’t make up.

Albie talks with Amber about the Brittany situation, and how he feels trapped by other’s expectations. She says his family has been hard on Brittany by judging her solely on her appearance. He says he has some of the same concerns about Brittany, but this relationship is just none of their business.

Caroline works on her sauce, which is going to be canned and released in stores. Christopher helps her, and she talks about how he makes her happier and sometimes he just needs his presence to keep her sane.
Al tastes the sauce and says it’s good.

Caroline talks to Al about the incident between Caroline and Albie, saying it was “killer” to her that Albie said that to his sister. He thinks that’s not what Albie means, and that he just means if she’s going to continue to try to control his relationships, he doesn’t have to be in her life. “My point to you is this: it ends here,” Caroline says. Al says they did a near perfect job raising the kids, and they will rise through any situation. Caroline says the kids know if any situation escalates to where Al has to get involved, the kids better watch out.

Lauren and Albie talk in the kitchen. “Everyone is always tiptoeing around Al, and I’m sick of it,” she says. “I won’t let him get away with it.” Lauren says to him he never looks at the negatives and the positives of a situation, only the negatives. He says she wants to be able to say whatever she wants to whomever with no consequences. He also says he doesn’t want anyone controlling his relationships, and that he doesn’t want Lauren out of his life, but rather just wants to be able to live comfortably.

They’ve both apologized and made up.

THE END!
