Tonight on Lifetime Prison Wives Club continues with an all new Tuesday November 4, Season 1 episode 2 called, “Aren’t You Scared?” On tonight’s episode Ana hosts a housewarming party, but things get out of hand when Jhemini brings along an uninvited guest.
On the last episode, the new Lifetime docuseries “Prison Wives Club” followed four women living with their decisions to fall in love with and remain married to convicted felons. While facing judgment from their friends and families, the episode explored how these women struggled to find normalcy despite their unconventional choices when it came to the men in their lives. Restricted to limited contact with their spouses who are serving sentences ranging from 10 years to life, the ladies band together for support. Did you watch the last episode? Kate husband’s facility is on lockdown, so the two of them can’t contact one another. Jhemini comes over and she tells her about it. They talk about the support group meeting, and Jhemini describes the women as having made some “questionable” choices because they are married to men who have been convicted of murder and not just assault. Jhemini says she doesn’t necessarily want to go to the group again to get help for herself, but will be there for Kate if she wants to go again.
Ana is throwing a housewarming party and Laquisha suggests inviting Jhemini and Kate, whom Ana doesn’t like, but she says she should give them a chance as they’re all going through the same thing.
Jhemini video chats with Michael about her lost ring, which she kept taking off in order to hide her relationship from her family. He surprisingly isn’t that mad about it.
Now, she is getting ready for a photo shoot to resurrect her low-rent modeling career. She talks to the hair stylist, who knew Carlo, Kate’s husband, in high school, and confesses that her husband is also incarcerated. During the shoot, her phone rings with a call from Michael and she ignores it, wanting to forget for one day that she has an incarcerated husband.
Phillip calls Laquisha pissed because Terell isn’t fully paying his child support. “I don’t know what to do,” she says. “Either way, one of the men in my life isn’t going to be happy.”
She gets to Ana’s house and they start getting ready for her housewarming party.
They talk about how Ana’s husband has been criticizing her for drinking, and she says Laquisha should monitor her at the party. Laquisha is not here to be any grown adult’s chaperone at a party.
Ana ended up inviting Kate and Jhemini, so they’re getting ready for the party. Jhemini doesn’t want to drive to a rougher side of town but will drive Kate to support her. Jhemini says when she goes to a new place, she needs to have a plan and stick to that plan. She also doesn’t want to be late, which Kate always is. Immediately Kate suggests that they stop at a coffee shop before arriving at the party, saying she doesn’t want to be the first people there.
Ana talks with Michael on the phone before the party, and he keeps telling her not to drink. She doesn’t like to be controlled because her father was controlling when she grew up, and she says she’s going to drink if she wants to. However, she tells Laquisha Michael may be calling to see how drunk she gets. Laquisha is baffled that Ana lets her husband control her like this.
Jhemini drives past their intended stop five times, and she and Kate fight, with Kate telling her she can park the car for her. Jhemini is dreading the party already because she barely knows Laquisha and Ana and just had a fight with Kate. Jhemini invites Rome, the hairstylist from her shoot, to the party without asking, which Ana considers rude. Jhemini uses a call from Michael as an excuse to get out of the party, which she describes as “not [her] social scene.” Ana ends up loving Kate but says she would never party with Jhemini.
Rome asks Ana about how she met her husband, asking if it’s a thrill for her to use a site to talk to prisoners and why she chose to be in a relationship with a prisoner. She finds his questions kind of rude. He asks her why she couldn’t meet anyone, which offends her because she’s had bad relationships in the past and had chosen to be alone. She brings up how he controls her drinking, saying she loves his control and is happy with everything he has to put on her table. She calls him her soulmate.
Ana talks to her friend Lucias about Rome and they want him to leave when he talks about how he can act gay too being a hairstylist. This offends them and they tell him to leave. Jhemini is still outside on the phone when Kate gets her to leave.
