Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are still broken up. Sorry Twi-hards. We have semi-good news for you, though. Apparently, Rob is still ‘hung up’ on Kristen. As per most tabloid stories, it’s hard to say how accurate this is, but it’s not hard to believe. Keep in mind, they dated for a couple of years, and through the most drastic changes in their lives. They both became A-list celebrities, stalked by paparazzi and fans, and tabloid fodder – all within a period of two years. Gotta bond people for life, no?
Well, unfortunately, they did have quite a falling out – as we all know. If Kristen hadn’t cheated on Rob, or if he hadn’t found out about it, things might be different. Robsten might still be going strong, and their careers might look very different. But our sources tell us that even if Rob is ‘hung up’ on Kristen, he’s making sure his career doesn’t suffer for it. While Kristen’s dealt with the brunt of the cheating scandal, as has her career, Rob’s career has done the exact opposite and skyrocketed into the stratosphere.
He has about four different movies in the can, and another bunch in pre-production. It seems like every other month he’s attached to a new project, and he’s working with some of the best actors and directors the industry has to offer. He also has a smart blend of studio and indie projects in the works, which means that he’ll continue to test his mettle with strong material while keeping his studio cred intact. It can’t get any better for him, right? So even if he’s pining for his ex-girlfriend, at least he has his career to keep him busy. Kristen couldn’t say as much last year, although her career seems to be picking up pace at last.
