The Walking Dead Season 4 Midseason Premiere Sneak Peek Preview Trailer (VIDEO)

For many of you Walking Dead fans, the lag time between new episodes can be killer, but don’t get all zombified on us yet — because we have some spoil nuggets that’ll tide you over until season 4 returns for its midseason premiere this coming February. If you missed the last episode, never fear. We have a recap for you right here in the event you were off in the world doing fancier things than sitting in front of the television. If spoilers bother you, please consider either stepping away from the computer screen or exiting this article altogether — because spoilage is on its way and we don’t want to be held responsible for any panic attacks!

In the upcoming episodes, fans can expect many, many things to happen (because it’s a TV show and, well, things happen). For example, don’t expect Carl’s group to reassemble neatly and all-at-once. There’s going to be some time spent where people are off doing their own thing, which seems reasonable after a #ZombieApocalypse. Other things we can expect: Carl will be the center of an entire episode (or at least provide the major character arc for a particular episode), Carol will return before the end of season 4, we’ll see more of Daryl Dixon, and . . . . A major character will die!

Talking about characters dying in The Walking Dead is sort of like talking about Kanye West’s proclivity to interrupt people: You know its bound to happen, sooner or later, but you’re not sure who the next victim will be or how much controversy it’ll generate. If you have a prediction of who’s going to die, leave your thoughts in the comments section below. We’d love to hear from you.

Check out the sneak peek trailer and let us know what you think! The Walking Dead season 4 episode 9 will return February 9th on AMC.

Don’t think I can take another character death, losing Hershel was bad enough!

  • Walker, Texas Zombie

I was disappointed in last season’s finale. The Tombs battle was a fizzle & the Gov slaughtering his own folk was a cop out by writers & director. This season’s tank battle was epic. I watched that 15 minutes 4 times in a row.

[One continuity error: there’s a shot of Bob firing from behind the car with his shirt already bloody from getting shot, followed by a shot of him with a clean shirt, then he gets shot. This reminded me of the sequence in Pulp Fiction, when you see the patched bullet holes in the living room wall behind Vincent & Jules before the kid unloads on them from the kitchen.]

Daryl with the zombie shield was unrealistic against 3 guys with automatic weapons, even if he had a metal plate, but you learn to suspend disbelief for a warrior hero (like when Worf tied up the tear in his spacesuit with a Borg part).

Putting Bob & Tyrese in peril, the show really toys with the Highlander aspect of significant black make characters in Walking Dead – there can be only one.

I cheered when Lizzie bulls-eyed Alicia. That she’s with Tyrese now will tie up a loose end, because I’m certain this darling psycho child is the one feeding rats to zombies (she names them). Most likely, she witnessed Carol burn those bodies. Her emphasis on Carol’s teaching as impetus to get guns makes this inevitable. The writing is sparse in this show, so it’s easy to plot dialogue cues.

I bet Michonne has Judith. It’s plausible the kids went back for her, but Michonne had blood on her hand from when the Gov was Michownd, that explains the blood in the empty baby carrier. Plus, they’ve already made the connection between her & the kid.

I think Daryl is paired with Beth now so he can get some lovin’ – before Carol returns and a triangle forms. (It was Carol he escaped the farm with, so it’s a writer flourish to have him escape with Beth this time.)

Daryl Dixon will pass! Yes Hershel’s dead was a shocker but the worst is yet to be seen.
