“Big Brother 17” Austin Matelson contacted TMZ on Tuesday, Sept 29 to declare that LizTin is still an item. “Big Brother” fans have speculated for some time that they may not survive the outside world. Austin told his fans that he planned on sticking with Liz Nolan for the long haul, and his feelings for her had not changed since leaving the walls of CBS show – if anything his love is much stronger. Will Austin and Liz get married?
If you remember during week six, Liz told her twin sister, Julia Nolan that when she returned home, she plans on breaking up with boyfriend, Ryan. Apparently, Austin wasn’t the only one spoken for at the time of entering into the house. She told her sister that it wasn’t working out, and she was done with him. At the same time, she revealed that she wasn’t attracted to Austin – and said, “His hair smells so bad!!”
Who can forget Austin’s girlfriend, you know the one he was in love with when entering the house? In fact, it was the talk of the season because he was basically cheating on ex- girlfriend, Jen the whole season (on live TV) with Liz. His first Head of Household reign, he told Jace that he wouldn’t comment on how attractive Liz was because he had respect for his girlfriend, and he wasn’t there for a showmance. Oh, Austin – if only you had stuck to that rule. The fans would have so much more respect for you as a player, a competitor in the game.
Austin revealed that following the show, he was contacted by fans of the show calling him all kinds of vile names from disgusting to a cheating pig. He wanted the “Big Brother” world to know that he was sorry how it happened, but cannot apologize for loving Liz. He contends that Liz is the best thing that ever happened to him. Ouch! Where’s the respect for ex- girlfriend Jen now?
The duo faced criticism from both fans and the Zingbot. Who can forget the way the Zingbot called them out for their love affair in the house? Not only trashed Liz for stealing a taken man but touted that Austin smelled bad. Even still, the couple survived the ordeal and now are stronger than ever.
Austin revealed that they were officially dating, exclusively – and have met each other’s parents. He stated proudly that Julia and Liz were relocating to Los Angeles, so they can be closer together.
