Tonight on CBS Big Brother 17 airs with an all new Thursday September 10, season 17 episode 35 called “Episode 35”, we’ve got your recap down below! On tonight’s episode a houseguest is evicted.

On #BB17 it’s eviction night and the twins are on the block. Will Liz or Julia be sent home tonight? Julia says the curtain closes tonight on the sister act. Austin adjourns the veto meeting and Julia says it sucks knowing one of them is going home. They’re both teary. Steve tells Julia he’s sorry about it. Vanessa thinks about how this is so much better for her game. Johnny Mac is pretty happy right now but Steve says he’s sick to his stomach. John tells him not to barf.
Julia says Liz deserves to be there not her and wants to take one for the team. They sit by the pool and bawl. Liz says she would be fighting harder to stay if it was Austin on the block with her. John sits with Vanessa and talk. She says she can’t believe they made it this far and she asks if he listened to Austin’s speech. She says Austin made it clear that he’s only playing for himself now. John wants to send Liz home and Vanessa is undecided.
Austin and Liz talk about how Vanessa is playing and has made a lot of final two deals. Liz says that Vanessa is up to no good. Julia comes in and asks what’s up. They tell Julia that they are targeting Liz because Vanessa wants final two and needs Liz out for that to happen. Julia says she’s ready to go and wants to see Austin and Liz as final two and one of them win. Liz says she’s done being a cry baby and is ready to fight and play mean.
Austin says he’s going to talk to Vanessa about sending Julia home. Austin goes to Vanessa and says he wants the twins to make their best decision and not influence them. Austin tells her that Liz should stay because she has a better chance of winning than Julia. He says Julia said that she didn’t have a chance to win. Austin hopes to win Vanessa’s vote. Vanessa tells him it’s not an easy decision no matter what. That’s not what he wanted to hear.
Vanessa goes to Liz and Austin and makes demands. She says if they win HOH, they have to take her to final four. Then she says she gets to pick whether Johnny Mac or Steve goes home. Then she says they have to take her to final two. Liz and Austin agree but Liz thinks there is no way she would do all of that. Vanessa talks to Steve about what he will do when he goes home. Vanessa tells Steve she will vote his way. He asks what she thinks.
She says Julia is less likely to win HOH and says she couldn’t beat Liz in the finals. Then she says the downside of keeping Julia, someone would bring her to the final three over her because she’s easier to beat. Vanessa wonders if it’s smart to keep Liz in the house when she can’t beat her in the finals. She tells Steve it seems scary to keep Liz in the game. She says it’s a hard decision. Julie talks to the house guests and asks John what his family would think of his game play.
John says they probably think he’s stupid. Then Julie shows videos. It’s Johnny’s family. His dad and mom tell him he’s doing great. His brother says he can’t believe he bailed on him this summer. Austin’s siblings and their dogs are there and they tell him they miss him. Vanessa’s GF says she’s proud of her and loves her. She says she’s a winner no matter what. Julia’s parents are next and their mom looks just like them. Steve’s mom says she’s so proud of him – he’s crying.
He just bawls and Julie asks what it’s like seeing his mom after 85 days. He says his family is everything to him and he can’t believe he’s so far from them. Vanessa says her GF is gorgeous and her dogs are amazing and says it’s hard to keep a game face on and that breaks her heart open. We get a look at the #BBJury next and Becky, Shelli and Jackie wonder who’s coming their way. Meg shows up first and they run to hug her. Meg shows them the win when Johnny Mac got back in the house.
They also see that Vanessa won HOH and watch James tear up the house then win the POV. Then James shows up at the jury house and startles them. Jackie says it’s awful to see them both there on the same day. James is happy to be hanging with Meg again. James plays the DVD of how he went out so they can see what happened. James says they’re done plotting and need to decide who they want to win. He tells the girls they need to have a lingerie party.
Liz and Julia get to make their statements before the vote. Liz says she’s shocked they made it this far and they wanted to play together as individuals and have learned more about each other. Liz says no man or money can come between them and says – sorry Austin. Julia then says they’ve done everything together and now they’re on the block together. She says she’s sure that Liz will fight to the end if she stays. They pretty much ignored the other house guests.
The voting starts – it will be Austin, Vanessa, and Steve that vote. Austin goes first and he votes to evict Julia. Vanessa votes to evict Julia. Idiots! They are leaving the strongest person in the game. John also votes to evict Julia. Why would they vote out the weakest of the two? Julie reveals that Julia is evicted and she hugs everyone and heads out. Everyone cries as her photo goes dark. The crowd cheers but not like they have for other ousted house guests.
Julie asks why she wanted to let her sister Liz stay. Julia says Liz has played hard and has done so well and says Liz is playing for first. Julie asks if the others made a mistake keeping her. Julia says the house guests respected their choice but says she thinks they may have made an error since Liz plays hard and has Austin. Julie asks why she picked Austin in the POV. She says she thought that if Austin won it, she would go on the block against her sister and didn’t want that.
She asks if she regrets picking Austin. Julia says she would take it back now but no regrets. Julie asks about Austin and Liz’s romance. Julia says he’s a great guy and she’s part of it since they’re twins. She says she supports their relationship even though they’ve had some moments. Julie plays the videos. Johnny Mac says they both evicted him and he hopes he can send all their alliance members out and says have fun in jury.
Steve says he’s sorry to send her out. Liz says she loves her and can’t believe they made it this far. She says she will fight for this and win it in her honor. Austin says he’s sorry that he couldn’t protect them both and says he tried to keep them safe and says he loves her sister and hopes to see her at Christmas dinner with the family. Julia says she thinks Austin will make it to Christmas and says it’s a long shot they could end up together. Julia says Big Brother loves tends to last.
Now it’s time for the next #HOH. Liz, Austin, Vanessa and Johnny Mac are playing Under the Rainbow. They have to move eggs through a course and into a pot on the other side. The winner must move 10 eggs safely. There is also a luxury prize up for grabs. There is a special egg holder and the first to get an egg into that will win a once in a lifetime trip outside of the BB house but it slows them up for winning HOH. They will play until the HOH and luxury prize are won.
The competition starts. They get under the rainbow made of mesh nets and they have to maneuver the egg by sticking their fingers through chicken wire mesh. Hopefully Johnny Mac wins this with his nimble dentist fingers. Austin and John are doing the best with Austin slightly in the lead. Vanessa is in 3rd and Liz trails but this will be a long one. Austin’s long fingers help him move ahead and Vanessa catches up. At the top of the course is a plastic obstacle. They play on as the show ends.

Update: So Vanessa won HOH week 12 and she is talking about putting up Austin and Liz again. It is possible that Steve may go up too but she said that Johnny Mac is completely safe. The competition was down to a contest between Vanessa and Johnny Mac – Johnny Mac dropped out and let her have it because he feels safe.
