Jasmine and Mar talk after what happened between her and her man when she told him she slept with her ex-boyfriend. Mar feels that she needs to get away and leave New Jersey and stop talking to him. She knows it was an unhealthy, toxic relationship.
She is going to a seminar in LA that is all about plus size women getting love advice.

Kristi calls Jason, the guy she met online and was making out with at the club. He has been aloof, not texting him as much as he had before. When she calls, he sounds sick and says he is dealing with congestion, which causes them to cancel the plans they had for that day. Kristi isn’t 100% sure he was really sick, saying she wishes if he were avoiding her he would just say he didn’t want to see her anymore.

Jessica is going to go and get frozen yogurt with a guy she met while she was still in high school. She has lost 100 pounds, and since losing weight, she’s been getting more male attention.

Jessica talks about how she goes to a lot of weddings, but is always the person hooking people up, never the bride. She wants a man, wedding and family of her own.

She is still angry with her ex who told her she got too fat and that he didn’t want to see her anymore; he cheated on her twice during the relationship, each time with an ugly skinny woman. She realized that it wasn’t about how pretty she was, but about her body, and she has decided to change her life.

Jenn meets up with her parents and tells her about her bowling date with a guy who put his name as “Juicy” on the points board. Her mother tells her maybe she could lower her standards, but she says she’ll never know who will be right for her unless she goes on some dates. She tells her parents she is going to the dating seminar for plus sized women as an attempt to get some guidance in how to find the right guy and get over the fact that she feels like she has to apologize for her weight.

Jessica is nervous about her date, but she’s excited to try to get out of the friend zone. She says he never paid attention to her in this way before she lost the weight.

She makes a joke that he should ‘get on the boat before it leaves,’ and he asks her how long she’s been hanging on now.
She tells him he has a type, skinny girls, which he denies, saying he’s been with “thick girls.” She says he needs to expand his mind.

Jessica doesn’t think he is interested, but decides to give it one last try. She tries to get him to take her hand, and he says no.

Sabrina tells Jessica and tells her she is going on a picnic date with a guy she met online.

Sabrina, a fashion visual merchandiser, sometimes has a hard time dressing herself and isn’t sure what she is going to wear.

She hates the backs of her knees, calling them “knee butts,” and doesn’t want to reveal them in the dress the wears. She wears a dress that is shorter in the front and longer in the back.

On the date, the guy brings sparkling cider and cupcakes.

He says she seems conservative, which shocks her. Then he asks if she is wild or a dominatrix. Then he says he wrote a poem based on her online dating profile. As he reads it, she laughs. At least she got cupcakes, though.

After five years of dealing with her baby’s father and her ex, Kristi knows they will never get back together. She still wants to find love, however, so she is heading off to this love seminar for heavy women.

Jessica is going to the seminar for clarity as to why she can’t find a good guy, despite the fact that she says she doesn’t tend to hang out with big women. She says it’s going to be different being surrounded by so many.
Mar is hoping the seminar will help her get over Richie once and for all.

When Jenn and Jessica meet, Jessica is annoyed by the other woman’s high-pitched voice. Jenn gets a “bad vibe” from Jessica, that she is stand-offish.

Sabrina perceives Jessica as a diva.

Jessica says she ‘definitely’ looks like the other girls, saying she may not have looked like Tyra, but she definitely wasn’t What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. She says some of these women desperately need her help in a makeover.

Sabrina sees Jessica talking to two white guys, one of whom is nerdy and her type. She comes to the table to catch this guy’s eye, and Jessica dominates the conversation, which annoys her. Jessica tells the guys about her weight loss journey. Sabrina sees that the guy she likes seems to be into Jessica and gets annoyed.

Jenn tells the other women about how she just lost her virginity and had her first kiss in the last year. She says she thought that because of her weight, no one could love her. Mar reassures her, saying she loves her personality and she has felt that same way before. They talk about feeling like they have to stay with someone who is not good enough. They go and sit down with some food, when Jessica and Sabrina sit down with them.

Meanwhile, the other women are pounding down drinks, especially Kristi. She is enjoying her time free of kids and responsibilities, being outgoing and drinking too much. She hits it off with a guy named Clinton and dances crazily with him.

Jessica judges her from the table. Then, she starts talking about her weight loss again, and Jenn says she doesn’t think she should need weight loss to be happy. Jessica then says she hangs out with “pretty girls,” and that now they feel threatened by her because she still can steal their man. She says she feels better letting a man caress her at a lower weight. Jenn says accepting oneself for one’s flaws is important. She says she feels Jessica is talking down to her and she doesn’t appreciate that. “At the end of the day, we’re all still fat,” Jessica says. Jenn says she doesn’t call herself fat because that’s a negative word. Jenn starts crying, saying she feels personally attacked by Jessica’s words, and that Jessica is talking to her like she’s better than her. Jessica asks her what she has been drinking, and Jenn storms off sobbing. Jenn feels disillusioned, having thought this seminar is about self love.

THE END!
