Biggest Loser alum Tara Costa has married her fiancee, John Baranowski, in Babylon, New York, on Saturday, July 4 according to Us Weekly. What a patriotic way to celebrate a wedding! And extra congratulations are in order for Tara who weighed in at almost 300 pounds on Biggest Loser and has managed to stay slim and healthy 6 years after her run on the reality show.
Tara Costa looked beautiful in a gorgeous Victor Harper dress, while her fiancee, and now husband, John Baranowski sported a blue tuxedo with a black lapel, white dress shirt, and a black bow tie. The couple looked very sharp, and happiness could be seen all over their faces.
After the wedding ceremony, the couple, along with all of their family and friends, celebrated the wedding by partying at the mansion Woodlands at Woodbury. The newly weds were joined by 185 guests, including fellow Biggest Loser stars such as Pamela Geil, Jackson Carter, and Mark Pinhasovich.
Tara Costa released a statement to Us Weekly expressing her excitement over the joyous occasion. Costa says, “I am not the person who has dreamt of this day since I was a little girl and to be honest I never thought I would be the one to find that special person. But today is a HUGE day for me and probably one of the most important days of my entire life. I get to marry my best friend, John. He’s the reason for so much happiness in my life. We’ve chosen to live this life together, because there’s no one else in the entire world we’d rather do it with.”
Tara Costa and John Baranowski shared their first dance to Darius Rucker’s “History In the Making.” The reception was decorated with pastel colors, a ton of flowers, and included a beautiful candlelight dinner. Guests were treated to delicious foods, and of course, Fourth of July-themed cocktails.
