Tonight’s episode of ‘Blood & Oil’ kicks off with Wick stopping by Cody and Billy’s house – Cody is out of the hospital now, Wick brought her a bouquet of flowers and then asks to speak to Billy outside. Wick is freaking out because he hasn’t heard anything in the news about Gary’s body. Billy isn’t stressing it, he reminds Wick that Gary was on the run, a criminal, and on drugs – there is no way that his death is ever going to come back on them. Meanwhile, a couple is jogging through the woods and they find Gary’s body – and he is still alive.

Billy is driving down the road and Clifton and his granddaughter nearly run him off the road trying to get his attention because he wasn’t answering his phone. Clifton says that he has information for him and it couldn’t wait – it’s the deal of the lifetime! Clifton says that Lucky Carmichael died last week, and he owned a plot of land right next to McCutching. Clifton found a financial backer to help them buy the land – her name is Annie Briggs, she was Hap’s first wife. She will agree to write a check, as long as she gets to meet Billy in person, in texas.

Wick is called down to the police station, and is sweating bullets thinking that it is about Gary. When he arrives there are two FBI agents waiting for him – they want to talk to him about classified geological reports that were stolen from the North Dakota Oil And Gas Company. They inform Wick that they know that his father Hap Briggs stole the documents. They want Wick to help them build a case against his dad. Wick tells them to shove the offer up their asses. The agents threaten to help Sherriff Tip solve his case – if Wick doesn’t help them.

Wick heads back to Jules’ apartment – she throws a bag on to the floor in front of him. She found his burnt clothes he was wearing the night that he and Gary robbed the oil rig – she knows that Wick is the one who pulled a gun on his father Hap. Wick argues that he has changed since that night and so has Hap. Jules scoffs that he is a liar – Wick tries to tell her that he loves her and he will do anything, as long as they can just put this behind them. Jules says that she can’t “start over” with him and she kicks him out.

Billy and Clifton’s granddaughter head to the airport and hop on Annie Briggs’ private jet to Texas so that they can meet with her about buying the Carmichael land. Meanwhile, at Hap’s house all hell is breaking loose because he knows the feds are investigating him. He tells Wick to go on a four hour trip to Williamson to make sure everything at that sight is “squeaky clean,” and then he calls Jules and makes plans to go over to her house while Wick is out of town. Carla overhears Hap’s phone call, she gets online and searches the phone number and realizes that it was Jules that he was on the phone with.

Cody heads to the hospital to thank the nurses for taking care of her after the attack. While she is dropping off flowers for them, Gary is wheeled in on a stretcher and Cody recognizes him. She tells the nurse on duty to call Sherriff Tip – the man on the stretcher is the man that attacked her and made her lose the baby. Sherriff Tip arrives later, the doctors say that the odds of Gary living are slim. Sherriff Tip is obviously suspicious of Gary’s “accident” – and Cody realizes that he thinks her husband Bilyl might have had something to do with it.

Billy and Clifton’s granddaughter arrive in Houston – Cody has no idea what he is up to, she thinks that he is working for Hap again. Cody calls Billy and asks him about the guy that attacked her – she tries to ask him if he “really let the police handle it.” Billy rushes off the phone and promises to talk to her about it after work. Meanwhile, Carla tricks Wick in to stopping by Jules’ bar because she wants him to catch Jules and Hap together before he leaves town. Wick sees his dad making out with his girlfriend, and watches from around the corner…

Emma and Billy are invited to a charity gala hosted by Annie – she sends them a gown and a tuxedo to wear to the party. Billy brings along the spec sheets, she is certain that the land is valuable since it is so close to McCutchings. But, she tells them that she is not interested and won’t be buying the land, however she wants them to stay and enjoy the party. Emma and Billy are obviously confused – they don’t understand why she would fly them all the way out there to tell them that she doesn’t want to do business with them.

Emma and Billy sit down for drinks at the bar and try to figure out what Annie is up to. Emma thinks that Annie was going to say “yes” and then she changed her mind at the last minute. Billy has an epiphany, he thinks that he knows why Emma changed her mind. Billy heads back in to the party and corners Annie – he accuses her of still being in love with Hap, and scared to get revenge on him.

Hap returns home and Carla quizzes him about where he has been all day – she says that Wick was looking for him earlier and wondered is he found him. Hap says that he hasn’t saw Wick since he sent him to the rigs earlier that morning. Carla slips away and calls Wick, he lies and says that he didn’t see his dad and went straight to the rig. Then, he hangs up and meets with the FBI agents, he has decided to help them build a case against Hap Briggs – and the FBI promises that with his help, his dad will spend the rest of his lie in prison.

Meanwhile, Cody is dealing with some drama of her own. She caught her friend Kess selling drugs out of the food truck, to try and cover up the money that he spent on his gambling addiction. Cody convinces KEss to leave North Dakota and go back to Nigeria, it obviously is making him a worse person – not better. Later that night, Kess and his wife to stop by Cody’s house to say goodbye to her and thank her for everything she did for them.

Billy and Emma get back to North Dakota – she says goodbye and tells him that she is going back to Ohio since their deal with Annie didn’t pan out. Billy heads home – and Cody tells him that they found Gary in the woods. Billy swears that he didn’t have anything to do with what happened to Gary, she seems to believe him and is relieved. She says she wouldn’t want to “inflict that kind of suffering on anyone.”

Billy rushes to meet up with Wick, he tells him that Gary is in the ICU on life-support and he might make it. Billy mentions taking a job with Wick’s dad – Wick tells him he should think twice and now is not a good time to work for Briggs Oil. Afterwards, Wick stops by Jules’ house. He shouts, “How long have you been screwing my father?” Jules insists that she an Hap are in love, Wick laughs that the only reason he was screwing her was to get to Wick.

The next day Billy stops by Hap’s house with his new business partner Annie, apparently she had a change of heart and decided to buy the land after all – Hap laughs it off and tells Billy “Good Luck.” Because, if he is crazy enough to come after Hap Briggs then he is going to need it.

Tonight’s episode ends at the hospital – Gary wakes up from his coma.

THE END!
