Robert Pattinson’s fiancée FKA Twigs covers the recent edition of Paper Magazine, and in an exclusive interview she threw some major shade at Taylor Swift and dissed the pop singer. You would think Taylor Swift has enough feuds to keep up with, but she can now add Twigs to the lengthy list of celebs that she has “Bad Blood” with. We’re already anticipating a Twigs revenge song.
FKA Twigs compared herself to Taylor Swift in her Paper Magazine interview, and revealed that she had no desire to ever be friends with the pop singer. Seriously, what did Taylor ever do to Twigs? We’re a little baffled where the shade fueled from – have they ever even met each other? Either T-Swift did something to cross Twigs at some point, or she is just dissing the singer to create some sort of buzz in the media. Regardless, this is what Twigs had to say:
“I think Taylor Swift is great, but I wouldn’t necessarily think, ‘Oh my god, I have to be friends with her.’ When I meet fans, they’re quite creative and intelligent, kind, sensitive. Some are old ladies, witch doctors from Louisiana, kids that have just left art school. Gay or lesbian couples, straight middle-aged couples.”
So, apparently Twigs thinks that her fans are deeper and more diverse than Taylor’s? Has she not seen Swift’s legions of devoted fans on social media? Twigs might have just written a check that she can’t cash. Taylor’s fans might not be as edgy or diverse as Twigs’ fans, in Twig’s opinion – but they are 1000 times as numerous as Twigs’ fanbase. Robert Pattinson’s fiancée is barking up the wrong tree.
Twigs also went on to say that she isn’t like “most pop stars” (ahem, Taylor) because “I have that throbbing energy, and I accept it, and I harness it when I need to. It’s not even a conscious thing.” So, in conclusion – Twigs thinks Taylor’s fans are shallow in comparison to hers, and she has way more “throbbing energy” than Swift.
