Cliffhanger Friday is here once again – check out these “General Hospital” spoilers for the Friday, July 17 episode of the hit ABC soap. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) are unhappy that Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) basically told them to take their wedding and shove it. Rightly so since Sonny KO’d Mikey’s dad AJ Quartermaine. But that doesn’t slow their roll much and soon Sonny and Carly are talking wedding plans and Sonny tells Carly that she brings out the best in him.
That will soon be put to the test. Just as Julian Jerome (William deVry) mentioned to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that he was out of the mob biz but someone would take over is territory in Port Charles, some unknown force makes a move against the Corinthos syndicate. Alexis will question whether it’s Julian, but we know she’s questioning the wrong Jerome about the attack.
Free of his duties at ELQ now that Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) took over, Michael will chat up Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo) about getting busy on the free clinic he wants to set up in AJ’s name over at the old Spencer homestead. Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) will check it out one last time to confront some ghosts. Rumor has it his mom Jenny aka Laura Wright will appear.
Michael also tells Sabrina that his parents are getting remarried and that he doesn’t want to be involved in the ceremony. He’ll tell her that it was one thing to give baby Avery back to her father but something else to act like he’s past the whole AJ murder thing. Sabrina, as always, will counsel him wisely to take some time to think about it before he decides 100% that he won’t attend the wedding.
Julian and Alexis end up getting a room at the MetroCourt since Molly Lansing (Haley Pullos) is at Alexis’ place and Denise DeMuccio (Maura West) is at Julian’s and they want to be able to get loud and sweaty. Julian even dresses up as a sexy room service attendant to get their sexy time off to a good start. Good thing Julian decided not to go home since Denise is banging Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig).
Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) is also banging, but on the door at the Jerome penthouse. No answer. Denise has her hands full of Kiki’s hot BF. Kiki gets a call that concerns her and leaves. Then it’s Franco’s turn to come banging on the door fresh from rifling his daddy DA Scotty Baldwin’s (Kin Shriner) office for evidence on Ava. Maybe Denise and Morgan will be done diddling by then and will actually answer the door.
Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford) feels better now that Silas Clay (Michael Easton) reassured her that he believes she didn’t kidnap baby Avery. He knows for sure since Silas is the one who kidnapped the kiddo. But then Nina gets back to the MC and finds rat fink hubby Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) with her evil mom Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills). Nina demands to know if Ric is her mom’s lawyer. What lies will those two schemers tell poor Nina to calm her down while they continue gaslighting her?
