On #iZombie, a bunch of people are in a plane getting ready to sky dive and are doing shots of Mescal. They get the go sign and jump out of the plane. One woman is impaled on a branch dead. Liv is at the death scene. She says she misses her freckles. Ravi says he’s hungry and she asks who he would eat first. She says she saw an egg salad sandwich on TV and wonders if she can make one like it with brains. She says she went spice shopping at Pike Market and says it was pretty close. Raci says #YOLO.

He jokes about her eating shish kebob for lunch since the victim is stuck on a branch. Then they joke about good food on a stick. Peyton calls upset and says Holly White from their sorority was in an accident. She says she heard it was a skydiving accident. Liv tells Ravi that she knows the victim and he says she can sit it out. She says she’s okay. An FAA guy comes over and says they were using sports chutes which were dangerous and says this is a Darwin Award and calls them dumbasses.

A guy comes over and says she was supposed to go last but this other guy went last instead and they both landed late. Major comes to work to see Clive and says Eddie never came home and now Jerome is missing too. He says his phone number is now shut off. Clive tells him to talk to missing persons and Major says he’s the last resort. Clive says he’s buried in two homicide cases. Major says as soon as Missing Persons heard the kids are from a shelter, they quit listening.

Clive says he can make some calls. He says Jerome went missing when he was looking for Eddie. He mentions the American Flag high tops he was wearing. Then Major mentions the skate park guy they call the Candy Man who is giving out drugs to kids. Clive says he’ll talk to MP and Major leaves upset with Clive telling him not to do anything stupid. Liv works on Holly’s body and says she was adventurous, free and broke every sorority rule.

Liv says part of her wishes she could be like that. Ravi says she doesn’t have to eat her and can have the crossing guard instead. Liv says Holly’s friend seems so sure it was an accident, she owes it to Holly to found out if someone did this to her. She holds Holly’s dead hand as Ravi opens up her noggin to dig out some gray matter for Liv to nosh on. At home, Liv finds Peyton looking at all the places Holly traveled to and says maybe she should have spent more time reading than skydiving.

Peyton says Holly did lots of dangerous things so she had a statistical likelihood of dying. She then says Holly was smart, beautiful and always had your back. Liv says she remembers Holly found her after she mad an 89 on a chem lab and thought she wouldn’t make medical school. She says Holly told her to start sucking the marrow out of life and they hopped a fence and swam in a stranger’s pool. Peyton agrees them kicking her out of the sorority wasn’t her finest moment.

Liv wonders if Holly had something figured out she didn’t. Peyton plays a video from last night of her talking to a guy named Lowell. Liv goes to see Clive and says she wants him to look into Holly’s death. Clive says he won’t invent a case and she tells him she had a vision about a guy named Lowell Tracy who freaked out on her. She tells him Holly was a friend and Clive says he’ll help until he can’t. She tells him to be sure to get the helmet cam footage too.

Liv decides to ride her bike to work inspired by Holly’s brains in her system. She plunges down slick stairs and laughs joyously. Lowell asks Clive why he’s there and he says they’re just establishing a time line. Liv shows up then and Lowell recognizes her from the crime scene. Clive introduces her as the ME on Holly’s case. Clive asks about the skydiving group and why an energy drink is paying for them to jump out of planes. He says Max Rager, the energy drink, put out his album and he owes them.

Liv interrupts and asks why Holly didn’t jump last. He says she jumped first because he got nervous. He says he almost backed out and Clive asks why he went missing on the ground. He says he went astray from the drop zone and says they can see it all on the helmet cam footage. Clive leaves to check on that and Liv sits across from Lowell. She asks why he was miserable at the party the night before the jump then asks if he and Holly were sleeping together.

Lowell says they should talk about her and says he’ll answer a question if she will. He says the party blew and says he wasn’t sleeping with Holly but says he liked hanging with her. Then he asks if she has a boyfriend. Clive comes back and says the energy drink company destroyed all the footage and tells Lowell he thinks they must be protecting him. Clive asks Liv if she’s met him before and she says no. He says he seemed evasive and says they can bring the others in.

They next bring in Brent Smith who tells them he does MotoCross. Eliza Marquette is in brand marketing. Clive asks her why the dive footage was destroyed and she says it was to protect Holly’s family and to protect them from a lawsuit. She says Carson is her BF. He’s there next and says he does advertising, snowboards and does X Games stuff. He then talks about how much moisturizing he does. Eliza says Lowell has been off the past couple of months.

Brent says Lowell was acting like a bitch at the party and Holly was trying to find out. Carson says Lowell was the one guy who could resist Holly. Eliza says she knows about Carson’s past fling with Holly. Brent says Carson and Holly were not over. Carson swears he wasn’t sleeping with her anymore and says the last time was forever ago then says it was six weeks ago. Clive says Eliza thinks they were monogamous for a year. He begs them not to tell Eliza.

Liv gets a vision of Carson in bed with Brent and he was begging Holly not to tell anyone. She says Carson was being a wuss and that Holly wasn’t scared of him. Clive says he doesn’t like that the footage was destroyed. Clive says it’s not enough to call it a murder. Liv rides home from work on the bike thinking. She says she has to keep pulling the thread. She has a bowl of Holly’s brain with some pasta and ponders.

She gets to work and Ravi says he has something to show her. Clive’s boss comes to see him and says he was on the phone with lawyers from Max Rager about a case he didn’t know existed. He says if it’s not on the board in red, it’s not a case they’re working and it’s someone else’s problem. Liv shows up and says Holly had GHB in her system. He says he can’t believe she was even able to open her chute. His boss hears the news and tells Clive he can put it on the board but says not to screw it up.

Clive adds Holly’s name to Lt Suzuki’s murder board then says it has to be one of the skydiving crew since they were the only ones with her in time to drug her. She says she’s going to a memorial at Holly’s tonight at Carson’s. Clive tells her to keep her third eye open. Liv and Peyton meet Major at the memorial and he says it’s like a UW reunion. Peyton looks at all the photos of Holly doing fun things. Peyton and Major go get a drink while Liv looks at the photos.

She sees Eliza there and Carson and Brent tell her she’s not welcome. She says it’s for friends and families. She says she was one of Holly’s friends and since one of them drugged her, she may be Holly’s best friend within a 10 foot radius. Clive notices the photo of Jerome that Major left taped to his monitor and snags it on his way out. Liv explores Carson’s house and sees large posters of himself all over his bedroom. He also has herpes medication, fuzzy handcuffs and a prescription pad.

Liv gets a flash of him handing out scrips to his friends. Liv calls Ravi and tells him Dr Dean McCollum signed the prescription pads and asks him to check local pharmacies for GHB prescriptions written by him. Lowell comes in and catches her snooping. She lies and says she was looking for the bathroom and he asks her to join him for a drink. He says he heard Holly was drugged. He says he also heard they were friends in college.

He says she must be one of the chicks who chucked her out of the sorority. He asks if she voted to kick her out. Liv says Holly played music really loud on school nights and says she wished she didn’t vote to kick her out. He asks if they were good friends and she says they were. He says they always did a shot before the jump and says that’s when she could have been dosed. He says Carson brought Mescal and she asks if he poured the shots.

Lowell says he doesn’t remember. She says Carson and Brent are in a secret relationship. He says it’s not much of a secret and not a relationship. Lowell says he’s telling her all this hoping for a shot at a date. She asks why Brent thought Lowell was to blame and why he changed. He says he has changed quite dramatically. He says he had to reassess his life and hands her a drink. She says it’s a spicy drink. He says it’s a perk of dating a zombie and toasts her. She’s stunned.

She tries to play it off and he says he can tell what she is easily. He says he knew the moment he saw her and says he dies his dark and does spray tanning. She says that doesn’t make him innocent. She says she saw him yelling at Holly in the plane and he realizes she ate Holly’s brain. He asks if she’s had a psycho zombie moment yet and she calls it full on zombie mode. He says he felt himself going into that and that’s why he insisted she jump. Then he says he ran off until he cooled down.

Major comes in and finds them chatting and says he wanted to say goodbye. She leaves to walk him out. She asks why he’s leaving so early and he says he can’t stop thinking about Jerome. He says it’s been over a week and his phone is shut off and he’s sure something happened to the kid. She hugs Major to comfort him and says he’ll turn up. Major says he’s sorry if he interrupted something with Lowell but she says that was strictly work related. He leaves.

At the skate park, Clive shows up and calls a kid named Darius Wilson over as the other kids yell 5-0 and run off. He says he hasn’t seen Jerome lately and says a lot of people have gone missing including Willy the Wino. Clive asks who else has gone and demands names. Darius walks away with him and shows him a column plastered in missing posters. There are so many they’re layered on each other. Ravi says he found a pharmacy match in Tacoma and they’re facing it over soon.

Liv says she met another zombie and he’s friendly. Ravi asks her to bring him in and she says he has blue eyes. She says she didn’t ask about his food source and Ravi asks if he was hot. She says he is and asked her out. She says she thought her love life was over and Ravi asks what if he’s the murderer but she says she has a good feeling about him. The fax comes in and shows that the prescription was in Carson’s name. Clive brings Carson back in.

Liv asks him how long he’s been handing out prescriptions like Christmas presents. Clive calls him a waste of talent and says he was worried he’d lose sponsors if they found out Carson was gay with Brent. Clive says that’s why he dosed Holly with GHB and Carson says it’s not true. They show him the prescription and he says that’s not his writing. Liv says his dad is going to lose his medical license over this. He says Eliza must have done this.

He says Max Rager is like a cult and says he was accidentally copied on an email about how the energy drink has made like 1 in 1,000 people go killer crazy. He says he told Eliza that Holly saw the email and wanted to turn it over to a journalist and Eliza said she’d take care of it. Clive goes to Eliza’s with a uniform to pick her up. He finds her shower curtain gone and then they hear a ding and go downstairs. There’s a casserole in the oven and Clive says it doesn’t look like she was planning on leaving.

Clive goes to his boss and says they have security footage of Eliza picking up the GHB from the pharmacy so that makes her the likely killer, but she’s missing. Clive says he doesn’t think she’s on the run. Suzuki tells him job well done then says there’s something else. He says he was looking into a missing kid on his own time. He tells him there are 60 missing persons from that area and says it’s tripled. Suzuki asks if he transferred to missing persons. His boss says no body, no case and kicks him out.

We see Suzuki pour hot sauce into his coffee. Holy crap – the boss is a zombie too! Major heads down to the skate park to look around. He sees Jerome’s sneakers on a guy and asks where he got them. The guy says eBay and he asks how much he paid for them. The guy shoves Major away from him and Major says he knows he didn’t buy them. Major gets in a brawl with the guy and we see the guy start to go into full zombie mode. He throws Major like he’s a toy and leaves him beaten then walks away.

Liv is at work when Lowell shows up and Ravi teases her. She says shut up or I’ll eat you. He says he wanted to bring her something and hands over a bottle of toxic hot sauce. She thanks him and he says the zombie thing is a bitch and it shrivels your world down to nothing and all you think about is keeping your secret and getting your next meal. He says no one can know you know and kissing, touching, sex are out of the question forever.

He says then he saw this beautiful woman who is the only thing in color to him. He says that gave him hope again. He says they may not even like each other but he likes what he’s seen so far and asks what they have to lose. The cops bring in a new body and Liv says she’ll call him this weekend when she’s off work. She unzips the bag as she’s thinking about how hot he is and says he’s made her hopeful. She rides home on her bike thinking how she wants to be alive now more than ever.
