Kate Middleton Demands Prince George Attend Local Montessori Nursery School: Refuses Royal Tutors – Queen Elizabeth Furious?

Did Kate Middleton demand Prince George attend a local nursery school? Did the Duchess of Cambridge refused the offer of private tutors? Is Queen Elizabeth furious with this decision?

Kensington Palace announced on December 18 that Prince George would attend a local Montessori nursery school. Located in Norfolk, Westacre Montessori School is just a short drive from the Cambridge’s Anmer Hall country home. George will begin attending before the end of January 2016.

The eyes and ears that roam the halls of the Royal Palaces report that Queen Elizabeth is furious with this decision. Those in the know say that Prince William agreed completely – and without argument – with Princess Kate. The Royal couple allegedly politely refused when Queen Elizabeth “suggested” that private tutors be hired for Prince George’s schooling.

After Kate Middleton respectfully declined Queen Elizabeth’s recommendation things allegedly became a bit uncomfortable and perhaps a little heated. Prince William stepped in and reminded Granny that neither he nor Prince Harry was educated by private tutors, and neither will Prince George nor Princess Charlotte.

Princess Diana strove to make the heir and the spare’s lives as normal as possible. The Princess of Wales took the young princes’ to McDonalds, amusement parks and other places non-royal children go to have fun. Diana’s sons’ were not locked away studying under the watchful eyes of private educators and nannies.

Prince William attended Jane Mynors’ nursery school and then studied at Wetherby School. The second-in-line to the throne then attended Ludgrove School and Eton College before entering the University of St. Andrews. The only private tutoring Prince William ever received was during the summer months.

The Westacre Montessori School Nursery – the correct name of the pre-school – released a statement, regarding Prince George’s enrollment. “”We are looking forward to welcoming George to our nursery where he will get the same special experience as all of our children.”

It is not clear why Queen Elizabeth would be upset that Kate Middleton and Prince William declined the offer of private instruction. Could it be the middle class price tag of approximately $55 per day? Does Queen Elizabeth believe George will not receive a proper education unless it is costly?
