Kerry Washington And Scott Foley Feuding On Set Of Scandal: Kerry Told Shonda Rhimes To Kill Off Jake Ballard

There is a major scandal going down on the set of the wildly popular ABC drama Scandal. The show’s frontrunner and queen of the ABC drama, Kerry Washington, is not a fan of her on-screen boyfriend Scott Foley – and she wants him off her show ASAP. Olivia Pope is known for her no-nonsense approach to life and love on the ABC drama, and her portrayer Kerry Washington apparently lives by the same mantra. Washington is reportedly embroiled in a nasty feud with Scott Foley, and she is done dealing with the Jake Ballard portrayer on the set of Scandal.

According to the June 8 edition of Star Magazine, Kerry and Scott have not been getting along for quite a while – but Kerry is close friends with head writer and creator Shonda Rhimes, and is using that relationship to try and get Scott Foley off the show for good. Star explains, “Sources say Kerry Washington’s tense relationship with on-screen boyfriend Scott Foley is what got his character riddled with stab wounds on the season finale. While Scott has assured fans that he will be back next season, he also has hinted that Shonda Rhimes said the end is near.”

So, what exactly did Scott Foley do to get on Kerry Washington’s bad side? The tabloid’s on set source dished, “Kerry is a very take-charge gal, but Scott is a veteran actor with his own opinions, and many of them rubbed Kerry the wrong way. Scott knows that Kerry is tight with Shonda, so he sees the writing on the wall. He wouldn’t be surprised if he got killed off early this fall.”

Don’t mess with Kerry Washington, or you could find yourself out of a job. Are you Team Scott or Team Kerry? Will you miss Foley on Scandal as Jake Ballard, or are you happy to see the character go? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
