Lamar Odom is fighting for his life as he lies in a coma and dying in Nevada hospital. Khloe Kardashian flew to his bedside, but one can’t help but ask… Are the Kardashians to blame at all for his cathouse drug, prostitute and alcohol bender? TMZ has just reported that the hospital where Lamar is at says he has only a 50% chance of survival.
This all starts with Lamar Odom marrying Khloe Kardashian in 2009. Kris Jenner, the soul-sucking Momager who will pimp out a kid quicker than you can say “paycheck,” tapped her fingers together enjoying the reality show monopoly she had created. Khloe and Lamar had their own spinoff from ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but Lamar eventually cracked in 2013.
Odom would disappear for several days on crack cocaine benders. During that time, Khloe bounced back and forth between trying to hold up the marriage and getting a divorce. In December of 2013, Kardashian filed for a divorce and sought solace with ‘Cocaine Mafia’ rapper, French Montana. October 2014 arrived, and Lamar Odom had refused to sign the divorce papers.
Khloe broke things off with Montana in December of 2014 and went on plastic surgery and weight loss spree that has left her looking like beat Bratz doll. In June of 2015, 2 of Lamar’s friends, Jamie Sangouthai and Bobby Heyward, died over drug overdoses. Khloe, still married to Odom, supported him through his grief. Finally, in July of 2015, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom finally divorced.
A month later, Khloe Kardashian was on her way to a SoulCycle class in Beverly Hills when Lamar Odom allegedly “ambushed her” in attempt to speak with her. Lamar touched her arm and Khloe practically grabbed her rape whistle and began to yell. Odom claims Khloe agreed to meet with him, and told TMZ, “I am not, not, not the person that they’re trying to make me out to be. I live in Las Vegas. So was there an address or a place given, or I just guessed right? Did I just guess right where this girl may be? I know Khloe, so how would you think I ended up there?”
Later, Khloe would later reveal that she and Lamar are still close and speak often.
On Saturday, Lamar showed up at Dennis Hof’s Love Ranch in Nevada. The former NBA star spent the weekend hanging out and partying with the hookers of the cathouse. On Tuesday afternoon, one of the women went to check on Lamar in his VIP suite and found him unconscious with a “mucus-type liquid coming out of his nose and mouth” according to TMZ.
Odom was rushed to the hospital, and the Kardashian family followed. Khloe, Kris and Kim are at his bedside, but he is in coma and it’s not looking good. Lamar’s heart is reportedly failing and he is having problems with his kidneys and lungs – he’s has multiple strokes. Kobe Bryant is also said to have rushed to see Lamar, as his friend fights for his life.
Sources spilled to TMZ that Lamar Odom hit a breaking point on Sunday, after catching an episode of ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians.’ Several clips featuring Lamar including a talk with Khloe, which earned an admonishment from Kim Kardashian, and Odom sharing the news of Jamie’s death didn’t sit well with the basketball player.
Khloe was naturally portrayed as the victim and better person; worrying about Lamar spinning out of control and fleeing a club after discovering her ex was trying to get in.
At first, there was no evidence of drugs, but witnesses at the hospital told the media outlet cocaine has been found in Lamar’s system. The sources also noted track marks on his arms. Doctors have reportedly determined the fluid around Odom’s lungs are from the crack cocaine use.
Dennis Hof did confirm Lamar had been drinking. Per sources, Odom ordered at bottle of cognac, but a third of it was left when he was found unconscious. However, another issue might be the herbal Viagra Lamar had been using as a substitute for the drug. One of the witnesses at the Ranch claimed Lamar Odom had been popping 8 to 10 herbal substitutes at a time. Conflicting sources state Lamar was actually taking the Viagra drug from a prescription bottle.
At this point, it is all conjecture, but it’s clear Lamar went to the ranch to escape. Odom arrived by himself – no entourage of friends. Everyone at the brothel agreed – he was “chill” all weekend until the episode of KUWTK designed to paint Lamar Odom in a bad light came on. The troubled NBA star has a past filled with drugs and trouble, but the Kardashians have exploited his drug abuse to fuel their reality show drama. You can imagine KUWTK is being edited heavily now, right?

Update: Lamar is on life support with brain damage from multiple strokes and is experiencing a degree of organ failure – kidney’s in particular. As soon as any health updates are available CDL will publish them here. As of Thursday afternoon 4 PM EDT the prognosis for Lamar is worse, and it was only 50% before, and the Kardashians have left Las Vegas – all but Khloe who remains by Lamar’s side.
Update: Friday 8:40 AM EDT – Lamar is in ‘dire straits’ according to TMZ’s sources close to the situation and still has only a 50% chance to live – 4 organs are failing and Lamar will has permanent brain damage, unable to breathe on his own – if he lives he will never again lead a ‘normal’ life.
Latest Update Friday 12:03 PM EDT – Great news! Lamer’s heart is responding to treatment and this is really positive – CDL will bring you more details as they become available. According to TMZ Khloe is still at Lamar’s bedside.
Recent News: Friday 4:25 PM EDT – Lamar appears to be recovering and is being taken off life support! We will update you as more info becomes available but it looks like the big guy is going to make it.
Saturday Update: 12:18 AM EDT – Lamar’s prospects are looking much better as medical staff report to TMZ that the former NBA star was never totally deprived of blood oxygen and this may have saved his life and vastly improved recovery chances. A return to normal life depend on how much damage was done to his brain from his multiple strokes.
– 9:09 AM EDT: Lamar is recovering and his heart is improving as is his breathing – some family and friends report that Lamar is awake and has regained conciousness although this hasn’t been independently confirmed by medical officials or Lamar’s reps.
Update 7:10 PM EDT: Lamar is breathing completely on his own and responding both verbally and physically to Doctors – there are still organs not responding to treatment yet so the big guy is not out of the woods yet by any means.
Lamar Odom’s son and daughter spotted arriving at the hotel they are staying at while visiting their dad in the hospital. Odom is awake after being unresponsive for a couple of days. He seems to be improving. FameFlynet.
