Nina Dobrev is dating Chris Wood avoiding Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed since she hates them both. Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder may attempt to remain professional when they’re working together on the set of The Vampire Diaries, but that doesn’t mean that they are best buddies. In fact, we’ve heard enough about their awkward on-set encounters that it’s not at all surprising to hear that Nina and Ian tried their best to avoid each other during Golden Globe weekend.
According to sources, Nina Dobrev and her Vampire Diaries co-star Chris Wood attended the Golden Globes InStyle afterparty, and Nina apparently did everything in her power to stay away from Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed – not just at that party, but throughout the entire weekend of networking, brunches, and parties.
This is the one weekend where all actors, agents, writers, directors, producers, and industry folk are bound to congregate and spend time together, and running into exes is almost commonplace. After all, what happened with Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal is not that unusual during awards season, and it’s hard to avoid awkward encounters altogether.
Now, sources have also added that Nina and Chris Wood left the InStyle afterparty together, which contradicts our previous information that Nina was dating Mark Foster. Obviously, Nina’s team is doing nothing to dispel these rumors, which is only encouraging the Internet gossip about Nina’s love life. Whether Nina is dating Mark Foster or Chris Wood, or both, we can’t say – but what we are hearing and seeing [via grainy video footage] is that Nina and Chris left that party together. Maybe they’re new best friends, but knowing Nina’s history of dating co-stars, I’d say it’s more likely that they are a couple. Maybe not an exclusive couple, but a couple nonetheless.
