The Bachelorette 2015 spoilers reveal who will be starring in this season’s husband hunt and there’s a big twist! The Bachelorette is finally changing up the status quo, and if you ask me, it’s about damned time. According to reports, ABC executives have decided to change the format of next season’s Bachelorette by choosing TWO different Bachelorettes, instead of their standard one and they selected Britt Nilsson, who played an Andi Dorfman on Chris Soules, and Kaitlyn Bristowe.
Following the After The Rose special on Monday night, it was announced that even though Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson were both being rumored for the Bachelorette, the producers ended up choosing both in a historic and unprecedented move, totally missed by Reality Steve. Chris Harrison announced the news and told the audience, “For the first time in Bachelorette history, we’re gonna have two Bachelorettes. That’s right; it is going to be Britt and Kaitlyn. So the 25 men, on night one, they are going to have the ultimate say on who they think would make the best wife.”
Both Britt and Kaitlyn seem a little confused, and rightfully so. This has never been done before, and it’s bound to add a lot of interesting twists and turns to the show. Both Britt and Kaitlyn also gave statements on their thoughts, with Britt explaining, “I mean, I’m super grateful. I think it’s an amazing opportunity. It’s more than I can comprehend. I’m still having trouble processing it, but I love Kaitlyn, so we’ll see how it goes.”
It was widely rumored that Kaitlyn Bristowe was going to get the gig, but this way, it’s more coverage and more attention for ABC. The Bachelor and Bachelorette continue to bring in ratings for ABC, so I don’t think either show is going away anytime soon – which also means that the network will try increasingly innovative ways to make the show appear fresh. Choosing two bachelorettes? Well, it’s certainly one way to do that. Will they share the bachelors?
What do you guys think about both Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson being chosen for The Bachelorette 2105? Do you think either one of them is better suited to the gig, i.e. more likely to last?
