“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers teased for weeks before Katherine Kelly Lang’s character, Brooke Logan, returned from Europe that Bradley Bell and the writers had an exciting new storyline planned for her – but it remained a mystery what said storyline was…until now. If you think about it, Brooke Logan really has had a rough couple of months.
Brooke’s daughter Hope Logan joined her in Milan and informed her of her miscarriage, then she returned home and found out her son Rick Forrester had created a mess of his life – and his wife was cheating on him with Brooke’s ex-husband Ridge Forrester. To add insult to injury, she found out her ex-fiance, Bill Spencer, had gotten back together with her sister Katie, her baby-daddy Deacon was playing house with Crazy Quinn, and Ridge Forrester completely shut down her advances and informed her that he wanted Caroline – not her.
“Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers tease that this week on the CBS soap Brooke Logan’s whirlwind homecoming will finally catch up to her – and she’ll have to sit down and do some reflecting on recent events. Naturally, she will have to booze it up while she is doing so, and according to B&B spoilers Brooke’s “new and exciting storyline” is that she turns into a raging alcoholic!
According to “Bold And The Beautiful” spoilers in the February 16th edition of Soap Opera Digest, “Unable to cope with the various high-octane events that took place while she was in Italy, including son Rick’s shocking takeover at Forrester, and Bill and Katie’s reunion. Brooke drowns her sorrows in the bottle.” Generally, when someone “drowns the sorrows in the bottle” on a soap opera, their drinking is coupled with some sort of tragic event, like for example a DWI or a hit-and-run, accidentally burning down the house, having sex with someone they have no business having sex with, etc. So, we are pretty curious to see what kind of damage Brooke Logan will do while she is sipping cocktails for breakfast.
