Newcomer Pettifleur is proving to be somewhat of a handful on tonight’s all new episode of “The Real Housewives of Melbourne”. But with this cast of ladies, that could mean either two things. She could either fit right in or find herself type-casted at the end of the day as the new Gina. Otherwise the “Drama Queen”.

For, you see, it was one thing for Pettifleur to show how spoil she was as she was picking out a new Bentley for herself but it was quite another to take such an attitude with a salesperson. Much less do such a thing in front of women she just met. As the story goes, Pettifleur, Janet, and Jackie were all out shopping for Gamble’s Costume Murder Mystery Party (the one she’s throwing in order to get to know everyone better) and Pettifleur kind of demanded the salesperson pay special attention to her. Or in other words she had that poor woman running back trying to meet all her demands.

So she turned Janet right off with that behavior. And later when Janet met up with Gamble, they both agreed on not really liking her.

Gamble’s reasons, though, were entirely different. You see she disliked Pettifleur because the other woman publicly called her dress ugly at Janet’s party. And now because of that and other somewhat offensive behavior (at least in Gamble’s eyes) – Gamble is calling her “Nouveau Riche”. As if that’s an insult, but all the same Chyka didn’t like it.

She could understand why Pettifleur might turn some off with such a strong personality, but a woman that made her own money should be appreciated in Chyka’s book.

However Janet and Gamble aren’t the only ones thrown by Pettifleur. Lydia is technically her friend and she’s still coming to terms with the other woman’s sharp tongue. So Lydia and Gamble (who didn’t really get the chance to click the first time) now have two things in common that hopefully help them to be one day friends.

Not only can Pettifleur put them both in uncomfortable silence with merely one word but the women also share a truly abnormal love for their dogs.

Like it has been shown before, certain women can often treat their dogs as if they were like children. And unfortunately both Lydia and Gamble are guilty of this. Lydia, it seems, uses her dog as a replacement/cure for the empty nest syndrome and meanwhile Gamble calls her dog “the love of her life”. And so that gets a tad awkward with her longtime boyfriend around.

Rick and Gamble are actually throwing this Costume Murder Mystery Party together and before the party was underway – he proposed to her.

So Gamble and Rick went into their party as a happy couple. And though Gina might have felt Janet was later on heavily flirting with Rick – that didn’t appear to faze the couple. And no one else seemed to notice. Hence the party, overall, ended up being a fun way to get to know each and to announce their engagement.

But, like always, there was a downside to the event. This time it was Pettifleur. Because when Pettifleur started to describe this new book she’ writing – no one understand a word that was coming out of her mouth. And in case you’re wondering that had nothing to do with her accent.

It was just obvious Pettifleur hasn’t written her summary yet.

Then, in the day after the party, Gamble met with Janet and Chyka for lunch and she heard something about herself that she didn’t like. Janet had reportedly heard from her own friend that Gamble was into sex parties and was once a call girl so she told Gamble about it. And Gamble was offended. Both at the idea someone could think about her and that Janet sensationalized it.

THE END!
