“The Young and the Restless” spoilers dropped the hint to the fans that something may happen to Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) baby. On recent Y&R episodes Sage was hospitalized for abdominal pain, and her doctor suspected it was due to psychological symptoms due to extreme stress. Is it possible their baby could be born early or die due to Sage keeping secrets from Nick? And, if so – will Nick blame himself for it?
Sage has struggled with her part in Adam’s (Justin Hartley) secret. She knows that if it comes out that she knew about his true identity, her new husband will be furious. And even worse perhaps, once Nick finds out that Sage slept with Adam Newman he will go insane – and then he’ll also realize that Adam could be the father of his child with Sage – at that point we can expect Nick to resort to violence. And, there’s more; rumors have circulated for over a year Sage could have been the one that really killed Delia – resulting in clearing Adam of any charges for her death. Of course more recent rumors postulate that Delia might somehow turn up alive based upon a reported Y&R casting call.
Sage’s doctor strongly encouraged Nick to set up a shrink appointment for her. She told him it might help if Sage could talk to someone about the fears she is having right now. The problem is, Sage’s issues are not pregnancy related, exactly. She was terrified that Adam would reveal her involvement in his resurrection.
Not only is Sage worried about Adam revealing her involvement in his Gabriel Bingham scam; she is having nightmares about Victor (Eric Braeden) stealing her new baby boy. Nick, of course, blamed himself for her worrying about his father. He had just told her that his father loves his grandchildren, and he tries to make himself part of their lives, every day.
Rumors are swirling that Sharon (Sharon Case) may develop plans with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) to kidnap Sage and Nick’s child. Nick told Sage on Tuesday, “Sage, I am not going to let anyone take our baby from us. Don’t worry about that at all.” Is it possible the writers are hinting to the fans that a baby switch or kidnap is coming?
Fans are hoping (and praying) that Sharon doesn’t try to kidnap Sage’s baby. It would be a great change in a storyline if Chuck Pratt wrote Sharon to deal with her life and own up to her mistakes. It is the time they have Sharon tell Dylan (Steve Burton) about their miscarriage- and allow them to grieve together.
It isn’t looking like the writers plan to do that especially since we know that Dylan will uncover a secret about Sharon that he must yet again save her from.
