“The Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that we’ll learn more details about Ian Ward (Ray Wise) and Adam Newman’s (Justin Hartley) partnership on the Y&R episode Monday, September 7. It appears that Ian believes Adam is Gabriel, which just creates another layer of deception for Adam to deal with. Adam has really crossed over to the dark side at this point. It seems Adam’s desire for revenge runs deep and he’ll do anything to bring down Victor (Eric Braeden). That includes working with the nefarious Ian Ward.
Ian will sense that Gabriel is growing impatient while waiting on the virus they installed to load. Gabe will insist that he’s the one who will take the fall if something goes wrong. Gabriel is putting a lot on the line with this plot. First of all, Victor is not going to be pleased if he finds out that Gabriel teamed up with Ian on the Paragon Project. When the truth comes out about Gabe’s identity, Victor will be even more enraged by his son’s actions.
Of course, we can’t forget about Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) either. Adam claims to love Chelsea so much that he’d give up his ideas of vengeance. Clearly, that’s another one of Adam’s lies. Adam cares about Chelsea, but he just can’t help himself when it comes to payback. Victor deserves everything he has coming to him. “The Young and the Restless” viewers will be anxious to see how Chelsea will react to Adam’s latest stunt.
On the Y&R episode airing Monday, September 7, Ian will indicate that he’s no longer a prisoner and he has Gabriel to thank for it. It looks like Adam realized that Ian was the perfect person to help him crush his father. After all, they both completely despise Victor. In Ian’s words, “the digital worm is burrowing like a champion and Victor will never know who unleashed the beast.” Adam hopes to leave no trace of his involvement in Victor’s takedown. Can Adam really pull this off? The rumors hint that there could be some snags along the way. Stick with “The Young and the Restless” to see if this perilous plan will end in victory or defeat.
