“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, October 29, tease that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will be stunned by Adam’s (Justin Hartley) revelation. In the preview video, Adam tells Chelsea that he can’t feel his legs. Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) was on a mission to kill Adam, but she may have paralyzed him instead.
Joe (Scott Elrod) was paralyzed after Avery (Jessica Collins) pushed him off the balcony, but he regained the use of his legs later. Y&R characters typically recover from even the most horrific of injuries. That’s just how soaps work. There’s a good chance Adam will be fine once he has some therapy and takes a little time to heal.
Meanwhile, Victor (Eric Braeden) and Jack (Peter Bergman) will be on a mission to stop the Paragon virus. Both Newman Enterprises and Jabot are being attacked now. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will try his best to help them. However, Kevin will insist that Jack and Victor are going to have to work together if they really want to stop the threat.
It’ll be tough for Jack and Victor to get along, but they should at least give it a shot. The Paragon virus is destroying their companies and it simply must be stopped. Will Victor, Jack and Kevin come up with a plan to take care of this mess? Time will tell, but the rumors hint that they’ll be able to get rid of it eventually.
Elsewhere, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will be puzzled by something strange. In the preview clip, Nikki appears to be preparing for the upcoming Halloween gala. As Nikki stands next to a large portrait of Delia (Sophie Pollono), she’ll ask a man if he could find out why the lights were flickering. It’s not clear what’s going on, but it sounds like trouble. Flickering lights don’t usually signal good news on a soap.
Perhaps the writers are setting up a potential electrical problem to explain the fire we know is coming. Of course, a shadowy figure will also be lurking around the party. He or she could be the real culprit behind the imminent blaze. Stick with “The Young and the Restless” spoilers to how it all goes down.
