“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, September 24, tease that Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will call an emergency board meeting. Ashley will say they need to take a vote about the shipping line purchase as well as the direction of the company as a whole. Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan) and several others will side with Jack (Peter Bergman). Ashley will receive some support as well. Billy (Burgess Jenkins) certainly has his sister’s back. In the end, Ashley will win this battle. They won’t be returning the shipping line to Victor (Eric Braeden) and Ashley will continue to steer Jabot where she wants it to go.
Jack will declare that he won’t let it come between them personally, but he’ll insist that it’s risky going up against Victor. There’s bound to be a war now. Ashley will start to worry slightly about Victor retaliating and Billy will admit that Jack’s probably right. Nevertheless, Ashley won’t be afraid of Victor and the impending doom.
At the hospital, Victor will be furious about the shipping line sale and he’ll voice his displeasure. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will try to defend Billy, but Victor will be appalled that she’d actually reconcile with a useless punk like him. Victor will also have a chat with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) about Nick’s future. Victor will feel that Nick (Joshua Morrow) is preparing to become the patriarch of the Newman family. Victoria will be a little jealous of how Victor tends to favor his other children over her.
Inside Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) room, Stitch (Sean Carrigan) will announce the news that Sage has an infection caused by a microscopic parasite in her intestines. Nick and Sage will be relieved that the baby isn’t in real danger and the infection can be cleared up with medication. Sage will feel guilty about overreacting to Victor’s attempt to help her earlier.
Nick will track down Victor and apologize for thinking The Moustache said something that made Sage feel threatened. Victor will reply that Nick doesn’t need to say he’s sorry for protecting his family. We all know how important family is to Victor – just wait until Victor learns about Gabe’s true identity, let’s see how he feels about darling Sage then!
A short time later, Victoria will get into an argument with Nick about how he’s the golden child. Victoria will gripe that she’s the one who’s always stood by Victor, but she gets nothing for it. Instead, Victor promoted Abby (Melissa Ordway) and plans on passing the family torch to Nick.
Nick will hint that Victoria’s relationship with Billy is getting in the way. Victor thinks Victoria isn’t loyal. Eventually, Victoria will indicate that she just wants to the Newmans to come together and Nick will agree. Meanwhile, Victor will let Jack know that he blames him for the Paragon Project and the war is on.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Dylan (Steve Burton) will bring Faith (McKenna Grace) by for a visit at Fairview. Dylan will suggest that he should call Sharon’s (Sharon Case) OB-GYN to fill her in on everything. Sharon will nervously tell Dylan she’s already got it all sorted out. Dylan will get a text about Sage and he’ll give Sharon updates on the situation.
Sharon will be concerned about the baby, but Dylan will assure her that everything will be fine. Nick and Sage will deliver a healthy child just like Dylan and Sharon. Naturally, Sharon will look anxious. Dylan still has no clue about the miscarriage. Poor Dylan, poor Sharon….
It sounds like Sharon needs to figure something out ASAP. Sharon will later have a chat with her therapist and lament the fact that life’s not fair. Everyone else seems to get what they want. The therapist will be puzzled since Sharon has a man who loves her and they’re having a baby to complete their family.
Sharon will cover by saying that Nick gets to spend a lot more time with Faith and everyone looks down on her. Unfortunately, that’s probably not going to change anytime soon. Y&R rumors hint that this baby dilemma could cause Sharon to make some irrational decisions. Sharon will likely continue her status as a social pariah.
