The Young and the Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Marco's Back - Will Evil Drug Dealer and Luca Team Up In Genoa City?

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers revealed that Marco Annicelli (Peter Bergman) is back and sent Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) to Genoa City to claim his wife, Marisa (Sofia Pernas). Marisa (Sofia Pernas was signed to a full-time Y&R contract recently) showed no interest in rekindling any romance with the handsome, rich and powerful husband. Marisa told him to get out of Genoa City and begged him not to hurt anyone she is close too, especially Noah Newman (Robert Adamson).

As if it wasn’t bad enough for Genoa City residents with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) on the loose; now, they have Marco’s long and evil arm still controlling a few unlucky residents. It looks like Victor might have contacted Marco in jail bribing him for any dirt he had on Marisa. Victor wanted to come between Noah and Marisa – and The Moustache is acutely aware that Marissa knows way too much about his involvement with Marco and the recent murders and mayhem in GC – so he stooped to asking for Marco’s help. We know Marco’s help typically comes at a large cost – one that Victor may or may not be willing to pay.

Jack (Peter Bergman) went to see Victor after learning from Marisa that her dangerous and unpredictable husband was in town. Marissa told Jack that Marco sent him here. Jack was extremely concerned about Marco still having an influence on his life and the lives of his young ones, especially Phyllis.

Jack accused Victor of facilitating contact between Marco and Luca. Victor denied it but told him that Marco was safely tucked away in prison. Vic didn’t reveal he contacted Marco to find out dirt on Marisa in order to destroy her relationship with Noah. Jack was shocked at Victor’s possible indiscretion in working AGAIN with the responsible for such evil – doesn’t The Moustache learn anything from the past? Victor responded with typical swagger, “Don’t sit there and pretend you wouldn’t have protected your kid from Marisa. If Kyle wanted to be with her- you’d stop it fast?” Jack denied it and stated that Marisa was a nice girl.

It appears that Victor could have contacted Marco and made no apology for involving Marco in Jack’s life again. He defended the reason he could have called him – and contended that Jack would have done the same exact thing. The real question is, can Jack trust Victor when he told him that Marco was stuck away in a Peruvian prison? Or, should Jack demand to see proof that he is in jail? Should fans be expecting a return of one-eared Marco soon? Could Victor possibly be thinking of engaging Marco in his coming was against Paragon Project or is it possible that Marco and Luca could be working with Ian Ward (Ray Wise)?

One thing is certain; Prince Luca Santori is bad news, and will bring nothing but heartache for poor unsuspecting Noah Newman and others in GC. Another point that might influence TPTB at Y&R in terms of storyline direction is that many fans feel that Peter Bergman did his finest acting as Marco – really delivering Emmy-worthy performances as the hard-core drug dealer. Would Chuck Pratt Jr. pass up the opportunity to get Marco back up on center stage?
