“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nick Newman [Joshua Morrow] may ask for outside help, possibly from Dr. Anderson [Elizabeth Bogush], to save his marriage to Sage Warner [Kelly Sullivan].
The shady doc offered her services to Nick and it looks like he may reconsider and make an appointment with Dr. A. If she becomes his therapist, it will put Dr. Anderson in a scary position of being able to wreak havoc on his marriage from the inside out!
More than anything, Nick wants to save his marriage – he believes he and Sage have a chance to go the distance and Nick is not willing to give up just yet. But Sage has resisted Nick’s efforts for them to grieve together.
Sage’s withdrawal scares Nick because he feels not grieving with one another was what led to his marriage with Sharon Newman [Sharon Case] falling apart. Nick is determined not to allow this to happen to him and Sage.
The real question is, will Sage’s secrecy and bond with Adam [Justin Hartley] ultimately destroy their marriage? “The Young and the Restless” spoilers hint that Dr. Anderson may talk Nick into getting Sage treatment for depression over Christian’s death.
Nick has seen Sage fall into deep despair, even refusing to go to family events. Nick voiced his concern to his mother Nikki Newman [Melody Thomas Scott] and vowed he will find a way to reach Sage no matter what.
Spoilers tease that when Sharon comes home with her baby boy, which happens to be Sage’s child, Sage will spin out of control. Sage may insist that Sharon’s infant is her child, raising concerns about her sanity.
If Dr. Anderson can convince Nick to commit his wife to Fairview, she would be free to start Sage on a medication regime similar to Sharon’s. If this happens, Dr. A could keep Sage under her control for a long time.
There has been speculation for nearly a year that Sage would somehow end up in Fairview – and it looks like that may finally happen! CBS Soaps in Depth noted, in the week of November 30-December 4, that Nick starts therapy with Dr. Anderson.
