“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) spoilers are in, and boy will it be a great week to watch our favorite soap with life and death struggles and shocking secrets exposed! Adam Newman [Justin Hartley] was the victim of a hit and run on Friday’s episode; his injuries look life threatening. That’s not all; on today’s show, Sage’s [Kelly Sullivan] baby, Christian stops breathing and is dying. Two Newmans’ are fighting for their lives, and spoilers tease that one might not survive the week.
Sage’s baby was getting better each day. He has gained weight and was making strides each day. They were expecting to be able to bring Christian home in about a month. Sage and Nick [Joshua Morrow] stepped out of the nursery to check on Adam’s condition. Upon returning to the NICU, they learn that Christian stopped breathing. Is it possible that Christian is in a deadly health crisis?
Adam’s condition is critical and serious. He didn’t break any bones but has internal bleeding which can kill a person quickly. Dr. Ben “Stitch” Rayburn is on the case and promised Chelsea [Melissa Claire Egan] and Victor [Eric Braeden] that he will not let Adam die. Stitch took Adam to surgery to try to find out where the bleeding is coming from exactly and save him.
The spoilers hint that Adam will make a full recovery. Justin Hartley just signed a two-year contract, so Adam is not going anywhere.
“The Young and the Restless” rumors have teased for quite some time that Sage’s baby will have a health crisis that will reveal the identity of his biological father. Fans assumed that he’d have Adam’s blindness, which would reveal Adam as his father. It is looking as if TPTB are going a different route.
It is possible that the baby will need a blood transfusion or something along those lines – and has a very rare blood type. The doctor may test Nick’s blood to find he is not a match, revealing that Christian is not his child.
If the rumors are correct, Sage would have to admit to the Newmans that Adam is the father and she needs his help. In order to save her miracle baby, she may tell the court that Gabriel Bingham was the driver who killed Delia.
As a free man, the first thing Adam does is save Sage’s baby. He gives his blood to his son. Sage was forced into vindicating Adam as her silence could have cost Christian his life. In a sense, Adam’s new son could save him from prison.
Sage was not planning on revealing that Adam was the father; she was fully intending to let him go to prison for something she knows he never did. Fate intervened and may force Sage into choosing her life with Nick or letting her child die. The real mystery right now is what will Sage decide.
