“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) spoilers tease that a familiar name is coming back to Genoa City this week. It’s been more than 15 years since fans have heard the name of Leanna Love. It looks like she could be a focal point of the next big storyline rollout that should wrap up by February sweeps.
A new character will appear on canvas in the next few weeks, according to the Internet rumors. The buzz is that she will come to Genoa City under an assumed name, but it will come out a few months down the road that she is really none other than Ms. Leanna Love. No official confirmation has been announced yet, about the new character or her storyline.
Leanna Love left the show years ago; she was not Victor’s [Eric Braden] favorite person. In fact, he despised her very existence. It is not a HUGE surprise that when she returns she comes into town with a new look and a name. At first, no one will suspect that she is Leanna- they will embrace her as a member of the Genoa City socialite circle.
Leanna is torn about the best course of action knowing the true about Delia’s [Sophie Pollono] death. She doesn’t know if she should release the exclusive from Gabriel or find a way to have him disappear for now.
Her first reaction was to offer to pay him off with a huge settlement, and tell him never to tell anyone of the horrible tragic event to anyone again. She fears that no matter how much diplomacy the story is handled with- she will be discredited by the Newman family.
Gabriel refuses to leave without his story being aired. He promises that if she doesn’t air it, he will find someone to tell his story. “I will make sure they print that I told YOU first, and you refused to air it, “Gabriel threatened. He leaves and allows her to think about that for a few days before he does something on his own.
Gabriel is seen by Summer [Hunter King] walking in Chancellor Park. He was sitting on the bench, in deep thought. She approached him, “Adam? When did you get out of the hospital?” He was scared that she recognized him as the Adam that ran away. The situation is becoming too much to handle.
Summer goes to see Chelsea [Melissa Claire Egan] and Victor to tell them about what she saw, and report Adam’s bizarre behavior. Will Victor figure out that Gabriel is still alive?
