Fans of ABC’s The Bachelor are still reeling from the not-so-shocking news of Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff’s break-up, which was confirmed by the couple in a joint statement after the show’s creator announced the engagement was called off on Twitter. The writing was on the wall weeks in advance though, and it was clear that Chris and Whitney’s relationship was over back in May when she left Los Angeles and moved back to Chicago, skipping her fiance’s last two performances on Dancing With The Stars.
When Chris Soules got down on one knee and proposed to Whitney Bischoff during the Bachelor finale on ABC, they seemed like the perfect couple. Whitney desperately wanted babies and Chris desperately wanted a wife to live on the farm with him, what could have possibly gone wrong? In a nutshell – Chris got a taste of the big city and fell in love with his new celebrity status and joined Dancing With The Stars not to mention rumored attempts to cheat on his fiancee.
According to the June 15 edition of Star Magazine, Chris’s stint on Dancing With The Stars and his relationship with his dance partner Witney Carson is what ultimately lead to the couple’s demise. Star Magazine’s inside sources revealed that back in April Chris Soules was spotted at a party with Witney Carson, and he was giving his fiancée Bischoff the cold shoulder entire night. The partygoer dished, “Chris spent the entire night flirting with his DWTS partner Witney Carson, and ignoring his fiancée Whitney Bischoff.”
When Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff announced their break-up, they claimed in their statement that it was “amicable,” but that couldn’t be the furthest from the truth. Apparently, Whitney is very bitter about their engagement and Chris’s rumored fling with Witney Carson. Star Magazine’s inside source revealed, “She is devastated and feels really betrayed. Chris isn’t the Midwestern gentleman he wants everyone to believe.”
