Amal Alamuddin Refuses Kiss From Mohamed Nasheed: Former Maldives President Comes Up Dry (PHOTOS)

Amal Alamuddin, wife to George Clooney, met with Prime Minster David Cameron in London dressed in red and ready for business in her efforts to free former Maldivian President Mohamed Nasheed. Amal Alamuddin also refused to kiss Mohamed Nasheed despite her continued quest to help the former president fight for his freedom and democracy in the Maldives. The photos showing her avoiding Nasheed’s kiss are hysterical.

Amal Alamuddin seemingly spends a lot more time on the political scene as a human rights lawyer,than she does as the wife of Hollywood superstar, George Clooney. Most ladies out there would do anything to be in Amal Alamuddin’s shoes, being the wife of George.

Only difference is, they would be by his side as much as humanly possible. Who can think about human rights when they have George Clooney as their husband? Apparently she doesn’t see her husband the same way the rest of us do!

Maybe George Clooney was wise in marrying someone with a big career that would keep her entrenched in work while he is busy making movies? Maybe it’s the perfect balance?

George has been busy with a couple films already on tap for 2016. So while he is releasing Hail, Caesar! and Money Monster, his wife Amal can keep up her work helping out Mohamed Nasheed.

In other George Clooney news, did you see that he has a “twin”? Not a real life twin. But a total doppelgänger. Clooney has been the brand ambassador for Nespresso since 2006. According to The Guardian, Nespresso has an Israeli competitor who found Clooney’s doppelgänger and has used him to promote their Espresso Club.

Nespresso is suing the company for $50,000 and the removal of the misleading ad immediately. I actually find it really amusing that they found a Clooney look alike and pulled off the ad, temporary as it might have been.

What do you think Amal Alamuddin thought about her sexy hubby having a twin of sorts out there? When you have George Clooney, I would think you wouldn’t want to share those bragging rights with anyone, even if the look alike is a faker!
