The late Deputy Secretary had unfortunately set Vincent up for a domestic terrorist attack and for his own murder. So not only was Vincent and Cat without friends at DHS, but now even their own friends that normally would have done anything for them were getting dragged into this mess as well. JT’s computers had been confiscated, Tess was being questioned and for some reason, no one could get into contact with Heather. Heather had decided to pursue things with Kyle so it was initially understandable when they couldn’t get into contact with her. Yet, even Heather would have gotten her heads out of the clouds by a certain point to check up on her sister so it hadn’t made any sense that no one had seen or heard from her.

So Tess had later come up with an idea about that. Tess felt that DHS might have contacted Heather and brought her in so she hadn’t been sure about what really happened to Heather until JT got dragged into DHS headquarters and had actually seen Heather there too. Both Heather and JT had been questioned because they were the best friends and sister-in-law of the suspect. But neither were willing to talk to the feds and so the feds eventually had to them let go though they were pretty sure that were still being watched. And that proved to be a problem when Vincent began contacting them all.

Vincent had apparently been thinking about a lot of things and it seems that he has gone a little off the rails. Vincent had grown frustrated with so many people always after him so he had come up with a plan with Cat where she would handle clearing his name with DHS while he dealt with the bounty hunters once and for all. Though Vincent had failed to tell Cat about his grand plan with the bounty hunters because she never would have agreed to him torturing someone just so he could get a name. Vincent had lured a bounty hunter by pretending he had information on the beast and then he had taken the bounty hunter captive as a way to extract information.

However, JT had been left uncomfortable with this new side of Vincent’s personality. JT and Vincent had met up because Vincent said that he needed his help yet JT didn’t feel right in helping Vincent torture someone. JT didn’t believe they should hurt anyone even if that person had been paid to hurt them. So that situation with Vincent went against JT’s ethics and it made him question whether or not Vincent himself knew where the line. And so JT was worried about Vincent’s new mindset while Tess was worried about Cat’s decision to manipulate DHS. Cat’s part of the plan was to play the upset wife that didn’t want to be a widow so she was supposed to be manipulating DHS into allowing her access into Hill’s files. Cat had said that she should at least get a chance to prove that Hill had set up her husband so Agent Morgan who was running point on Vincent’s case had decided to play along. He thought that either way she would lead him to Vincent so he didn’t mind her looking into Hill yet Cat still went on to hide the few things she did find out about her late boss. Hill had apparently made two payments to a private security firm that had no scruples and was willing to do anything for cash. So he had been more than determined to kill Vincent. Though the company he funnily enough hired had been the same one that was enlisting bounty hunters.

Hill had apparently made two payments to a private security firm that had no scruples and was willing to do anything for cash. So he had been more than determined to kill Vincent. Though the company he funnily enough hired had been the same one that was enlisting bounty hunters.

Vincent’s contact/ victim had given up a name of the company that hired him and it seems that two people that one company had taken on both contracts for Vincent. There had been the contract to capture him alive and there had been the one to kill him. So unfortunately, the company didn’t realize that there was an overlap that could come back to bite them though Vincent decided to take advantage of that. He had later approached the conglomerate and had offered them his services. And because they didn’t know that he was the beast they were looking for, he was able to catch their interest.

Vincent had after all, dispatched two teams of assassins that had come after him so his skillset spoke for itself. But to keep ties with DHS, Cat had come up with a way for her to regain everyone’s trust at DHS and for Vincent to appear as if he hadn’t had anywhere else to turn to. Cat apparently planted the seeds with Agent Morgan that she was willing to bring her husband in peacefully so Morgan had asked her to do just that. Although, the plan was never for DHS to actually capture Vincent because Cat had simply been pretending as if she was going to let the justice system help her husband.

But Cat had never gotten the chance to discuss that detail with Vincent so she kinda had to hope that he would understand once she showed up with the DHS agents. Thankfully for her, though he did. It had been Vincent’s idea for them to conduct their own investigation so now no one besides their inner circle knows that they’re still working together. And unbeknownst to Cat, she had also helped Vincent prove that he wasn’t working with DHS because his own wife was now on record having tried to turn him in.

So Vincent has his in at the company and the only thing jeopardizing that is Heather. Heather had wanted to prove to Kyle that she did trust him and care about him so she told him that Vincent was undercover with DHS. And that’s why DHS had been at the hospital asking about him. Yet, there’s so many things that can go wrong that adding a white lie on top of it could only mean disaster!

THE END!
